Yes, didn't we all! Had our Paige got one over on the rest of us (not that I could imagine ever being a bridesmaid - one of the areas that still seems subject to gender discrimination - not that I mind, i wouldn't look good in one of those dresses).
I wonder if there is any way we as a group can express our love and best wishes to Hayley and Arnaud. I know we are all overjoyed for them both, and would love to do that.

If it isn't in the mag on Monday then they weren't married.

Well, although I like the idea of Hayley getting married on 29th of a month, the same day that I was, I would rather it was in 2014 for some obscure reason.
Perhaps if you read this Hayley you could clarify things for us. A simple tweet would do it.

LOL I suspect Gerald may have said that to get the reporters off his tail and then realised that the editor of Woman's Day has already confirmed the wedding took place. Congratulations to Hayley and Arnaud. It sounds like it was a great wedding.

Thank you Taylor. And to think I was getting all excited there for a minute! In view of the apparent quote from Gerald as follows: I say "apparent" because it seems that not all quotes in the media are what they seem! And that applies equally to the quote attributed to Gerald! So I shall amend the thread title for now and we will decide what else (if anything) to do with the thread and our Facebook post shortly. Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave, Just as long as the person who mis-read the date wasn't Gerald and he forgot to turn up!

By the way, if Hayley's dress was designed by Louise Anderson (as the reports say) here is her website: www.louiseanderson.co.nz/index.htmlIt seems the gowns have quite a delicate, romantic feel about them, without being too fussy. I'm sure Hayley's dress was very pretty. This sort of thing:

Wow. LOL Except that now it won't be so secret after all, will it, if that's what they were intending. I think Woman's Day must have all the info on what is supposed to happen (i.e. who the bridesmaids are, etc.) in time to publish the article. I do wonder what prompted the NZ herald to ask Woman's Day about it if it hadn't happened yet... Maybe because they knew it probably would soon, so they contacted the most likely magazine, and managed to find an ill-informed person there who was willing to spill some beans (inaccurate beans, as it turns out). i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Oh, this is all so confusing. I've decided to wait for Ross's scans of the Woman's Day article to post anything on the official forum. So, Ross, it is very crucial that you get those scans for us!! Aside from the fact that I absolutely MUST see the photos!! Can't wait! In the meantime, I'll choose my favorite dresses out of the collection on Louise Anderson's website (hold on while I figure out how to post photos; okay, got it): The pics are so tiny, so it's hard to see the detail very well. A lot of them are a little plainer than I like, personally, though. But then, I don't see myself wearing a long wedding gown, so I guess I have no room to talk. I am very abnormal in that I do not like the idea of a big ceremony where I wear a really fancy gown, and everyone's staring at me. LOL A nice, simple but pretty white dress would be as far as I would go. I almost doubt that a wedding dress store would have anything as simple as I'd want, but I wouldn't know where else to go. Oh well, nothing I need to worry about anytime soon.

The person who made the initial tweet, a day or two ago, about her sources telling her that Hayley's wedding had taken place last weekend is Rachel Glucina, Society Editor for The New Zealand Herald. That's right down her alley! BobS

I too am holding back, on the main HWI site, it's annoying because I did a nice front-page 'wedding' banner and wrote the news story... but I've had to keep it unpublished for now as it's still technically speculation based apparently on one person. Or maybe two now. But denied by a third. Arrrgh!!!!! Cheers, Dave
