That's great news, Juliette. It looks like it is going to be a sizeable HWI gathering. Hopefully, Martindn will be coming too.

Hmm.. today I finally managed to find someone who would look after cat and dog while I was away at this concert. And I thought great, I can go. But then I looked at the seats that are left and yes, Hayley is right, there aren't very many. And I ask myself is it worth going to the trouble and expense of flights and hotels to be in the back row of the stalls, where there are only 5 seats left, or towards the back of the balcony, or in the choir where most of the remaining seats are which would be behind Hayley. I often use the choir seats at the Birmingham Symphony Hall for orchestral concerts, and find that this gives a wonderful insight into how an orchestra works, you can even see the expressions on the conductors face, something denied to the rest of the audience. But I don't think this would be a good idea for a Hayley concert, where you need to see her from the front, and see the expression on HER face. When I saw her at Birmingham, I was in the centre of the front row. It's my own fault, I have been slow getting my brain around this, mostly because my lovely wife died in December. I've been trying to find my feet ever since, and now I am starting to sort myself out, I would normally be one of the first to book a Hayley concert I can get to. But this time, it would first of all be the most expensive one ever, for perhaps the worst seat ever, and I am wondering if it is worth it. Hayley's music has been a great comfort to me. But it seems I am at last awakening from what was a beautiful dream that lasted almost 40 years, seeing the harsh reality and rawness of life, and needing the comfort of great music again. Hayley is and was special, and I suspect always will be. But if there was the chance of another concert that is more accessible and where I could book a bit earlier, it would be better. So I'm having serious doubts about this one. See how confused I still am! Would ike to know if tere are any UK concerts planned this year, preferably outside London.

Martin D Tough decision, isn't Martin? On one hand, if this is the only concert in UK/Ireland this year, then I would say you should definitely go. But we don't know that for sure, do we? There could be more concerts, but with Asia in April and nothing announced yet, it would be towards the end of the year. Hayley does do 'one off' concerts - but I wonder if things will continue to be quiet until the release of the next album. If you go back through Hayley's concert schedule for the last 3 years, aside from the Paradiso tour, concerts have been relatively scarce in the UK. There mightn't be a guarantee that there will be more concerts this year. I know Hayley said in an interview that she might be coming to Australia in 2014 -- though, unless that is part of a 'one off' appearance, I'm not sure when/how that will happen. At this stage, there's nothing to indicate a new album is happening within the near future. It's a hard one, isn't it? I would recommend that you have a think about it. Sure, the seats might be not the best available, but you'd still be able to hear the concert and a nice break away is always a good thing. But I suppose you'll have to weigh that up with cost etc.

Right I'm going. Got the flights and hotel booked. I have been offered a ticket for a much better seat, so it makes it worth going. It is always lovely to see Hayley. I actually feel deprived at those times in my life when I don't have a ticket for a Hayley concert. I enojoy meeting old and new friends from HWI too.

I feel deprived all the time, especially when I see how you guys get to see her like every year. To you, once a year probably seems like hardly anything, but that would be a dream come true for me.
