Sure Taylor, I agree Sad that people won't put that tiny effort when it's professional business. I mean it's 2 minutes work to make a decent cover. haha. Gotto agree on the cheesiness of the song, but I don't really mind as long as Hayley's singing it, but this time it seems more like how she's singing it that bothers me. The whole nasal thing. But that's just me I think. The last time she was part of such an act was that, hmm what was it? I don't remember but it had a nice video for it, and hayley's portion was wonderful too!. I'm hoping this would have a nice video.

This is the largest image of the cover that I can find so far: Richard Well, I've managed to extract a larger version of the cover from the video clip: I don't particularly like the chaotic photo, but it could be worse. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

The cover and its photo are not particularly pleasing but its the charity recording that is the important part.

Exactly, Taylor and Joe: the cover doesn't really matter that much (photo, font, whatever). I personally don't see anything so terribly wrong with it, anyway. Sure, it could be better, but it's way better than someone dressed in a unicorn suit. Thank goodness Hayley would never do anything that ridiculous! Maybe Lady Gaga would, though. I think Hayley sounds absolutely fine; they all sound fine, actually. I think that's kind of how the song is. It's a light song, with a fairly quick rhythm, so there's not really any good opportunity or need to belt anything out there. Especially since she's singing with 2 other people.

Hello folks! I think it's a perfectly good cover picture. I've posted the link to pre-order the CD on our Facebook page. Richard

I'm with you Libby - the cover is fine and does what it's supposed to do. What's more a professionally produced cover would be expensive to create and result in less of the proceeds going to charity. If someone has had the foresite to create something in photoshop (as has been suggested) to reduce costs the all credit to them I say! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers Grant

Infact, just the picture, a white background and simple black text composed neatly would have looked so much better. I get the point, but only clarifying that a good cover need not have a lot of work put into it or expensive as you put it, so much to give it as an excuse and team up against what was a perfectly normal statement which apparently everyone agreed with. There's no need to justify the horrible cover. It's just bad, and that's all, Charity or not, they are not giving it out for free. Yes it does affect sales like I said, there'd be a lot of people out there like me who appreciate art wouldn't even both clicking on it. If I didn't know the name attached to it, I'd probably assume the quality of the singing/recording/song is as cheap. Things like, Thumbnails, icons which is all people would be able to see, should be decent enough to make them click it. If you ask me, being a Charity thing is all the more the reason to put that extra effort to get more sales as it's for a good cause. I don't think charity is an excuse to do a bad job. I would put an equal effort EDIT: And it makes Hayley's album list ugly haha XD itunes.apple.com/us/artist/hayley-westenra/id5634331 among her really awesome album covers. Cheers.

Simba, I think that's quite enough. It's not a horrible or bad cover, and there's no use wasting time dwelling on it for so long. You're probably the only one who thinks it's so terrible. The rest of us don't mind at all.

Can I respectively request that no further comment is made regarding the merits, or otherwise, of the cover. It is always diplomatic to 'agree to disagree'. Martin
