Thanks Taylor! Yes, the video is very disjointed for a 30 second clip, so you could have a field day spotting all the continuity errors. Richard

Hellen Bach has deleted the original YouTube video and re-uploaded it. I've updated the previous link, and here's her new Twitter post: I can't change the link on our Facebook page so I'll have to repost the video there. Richard

Hi Richard and all,
Yes, a case of "now you see her now you don't".
Let's hope the final video does better!
Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave! I suspect Hellen Bach jumped the gun and spilled the beans a day too early. The reposted video is still working this morning. Richard

Hi, Thanks for coming up with that one! Surprisingly few views for having been up a year-and-a-half, but at least favorable comments. Nice to see. BobS

Probably the worst "cover image" for any album. Why would they do that? Personally I wouldn't even want to click on such album covers to hear what's inside. As for the snippet, it was okay, Hayley sang in that little childish "I'm a sweet girl" voice. Not a big fan. Hats off for singing a new language, First time German is it?

This is the largest image of the cover that I can find so far: Hopefully the single will be available to pre-order at Amazon.co.uk in due course. Richard

Hi Simba Hayley has sung in German before "Wiegenlied".Look it up on YouTube. It's on her cd "Odyssey". Cheers Tony

OMG, I love that song, she had sung it beautifully, this is nothing in comparison. Well let me not get into the old vs. new again. But German did sound absolutely wonderful in Wiegenlied. I have that Weigenlied EP too with all the 3 versions!

Why does that link not work for me. If I click it I get stuff about the recording. Clicking on the title like it says takes me to a page about Terry Wogan and books. Scrolling down I find the album, but clicking on it just takes me back to the first page I was on.

LOL I agree, it's not an amazing album cover. But does a single for Children in Need to be something glamorous like the Hushabye shoot? Or anything staged and somewhat unnatural-looking? I don't think so. The children in need and their families might like it, despite the cover. I think a staged album cover would be a bit superfluous. Besides Weigenlied, there's Bist Du Bei Mir from Treasure.

It's not the photo Libby but the Cheap artwork that surrounds it, the font, colors, and the one-click cloud render texture off photoshop. So yeah XD

I guess I'm in both camps. I agree that the artwork is horrible and won't help sales. But I also think that it doesn't matter much. This single, in my opinion, is geared to the people who don't care about this cover. The loyal fans who would buy an album even if the artist was wearing a pink unicorn suit on the cover. That's a bit extreme, I know, but I'm just trying to convey my point. Anyway, if people saw it in a store, the word "charity" would probably attract them to the CD more than the cover anyway. I think I've learned to like the song. It's a little cheesy, but not bad. And Hayley's voice sounds fine to me. My two cents. Not trying to disprove or argue anything anyone has said; just my thoughts. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
