Aaaahhh, thank you Jillian!! My favorite photo from the shoot, for sure. I LOVE that dress on her. Except I don't think this shot fits the Hushabye theme at all, so I can see why they didn't use it. I almost wish it could be saved for another of her albums. Except the victrola may or may not fit the theme.  Yet I fail to see what the machine even has to do with Hushabye either, but what do I know? |

I don't think it has anything to do w/ Hushabye, just to add interest (like the umbrella in a couple of the Treasure shots). Either way, I think this shoot was a lot like the Treasure shoot - takes lots of different, neutrally-themed photos so that they can be used for compilations, other albums, promotion, etc.  -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif |

Hi Libby, I wonder if the point of the Hushabye shoot was to get a wide range of images that could be used for promo purposes of a general nature - not just Hushabye. Because only a couple of shots were used in the main booklet. Afterall, none of the photos of Hayley in the Catherine Deane black and cream dress posing with the suitcase have appeared yet. I think they needed some more photos - especially now that Hayley has changed her hair colour. It would look a bit silly using the Paradiso photos from back in 2010/2011 these days as Hayley had blonde hair in those photos. |
