Hello folks!

Those of you who know Fiona Pears probably also know her husband, pianist and producer Ian Tilley. I've just discovered that he started out as a choirboy back in the 1980s:

Not many people know that Ian Tilley started his musical career in St. Philips Boy's Choir back in 1980's. It is known that he was a head choirboy at one point. Ian is now a well known classical-crossover record producer. His work includes co-producing all of Angel Voices and Libera albums released since 1993. I had no idea that Ian was in the choir as a youngster, just that he later helped to produce Libera's recordings with Robert Prizeman.

I don't think Ian was ever a member of Libera, but his experience as a choirboy must have been useful when he was producing their albums.
