Yes there appears to be a script preventing the pictures from being copied. However I use a Firefox Add-on "No Script". You can use that to disable scripts and save the pictures. "Print Screen" is another program you can use to selectively copy any part of the screen.

Not that I'm encouraging anyone to copy stuff... but... in Firefox:

Tools -> Options -> Content -> Untick 'Enable Javascript'. Javascript is dodgy anyway, it's had many security holes in its time (and they continue) but sadly, many websites (including Youtube and even HWI!) need it to work properly.

So don't forget to re-enable it afterwards.
