I was lucky to watch the Hayley's TV appearance today. It was an awesome live TV program and a mini show. It was consisting of the introduction of Hayley, the interview and her songs "Amazing Grace" partially and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" sang at a NHK studio. It was also a fun to me to see how those people in the studio respond as well as some viewer's quick responses. Two viewers were introduced that they were moved so much and could not stop their tears. The program was so nice that I really want to share this to HWI members but the problem is the unique Japanese HDTV system. It has two different types of copy protections and without unlocking those, I have no idea to upload the program as a file. There are some underground special tuners or equipments that make it possible to unlock those keys but I haven't any. There must be some Japanese Hayley fan who own a special tuner and he or she will be uploading the program to the YT or some other site. One idea is to expect that but you cannot expect to watch whole the program. I'd say her songs were superb but I also found the interview and others were very nice to watch. So I am now trying to do my best to make it possible. But don't expect me too much. It is beyond my ability to unlock those complicated HDTV protection keys in a limited time. But I think I can unlock SD video's copy protection within a day or two making a hard ware circuit that make it possible to get a AVI file. I am not a hacker but as an engineer I can do something a bit special. The converted AVI file will not have an HDTV quality of video but at least you can watch and enjoy the contents. I already began to contact Dave about this and the uploading method. |

Thank you for making a recording! I know what it is like to try to convert and upload these files, so your efforts are much appreciated. I can't wait to see it! Bridge Over Troubled Water has been one of the highlights of Hayley's 2013 live work, so a studio version should be a real treat.

Hi everyone.
The current my status is close to the end of making the gadget which enable the PC to process the protected signal. I am 90% confident to convert the signal to an AVI file.
The local time here now is 33 minutes after the midnight and I must sleep soon. Tomorrow I have to go out in the morning and I will be returning home on Sunday evening. I mean I have to stop my work during those time period for about 30 some hours. So the upload will be on Sunday night or Monday morning if everything goes well. Please be patient and wait till then + some additional time because Dave needs some work to do to process my FTP file.

That's fantastic Maya. I know that Hayleys BOTW is something special, I felt that the first time I heard it, at the sound check at Gwyl Gobaith nearly a year ago. She was messing about and stopping and starting, but there was no doubt she had something very special. I am really looking forward to this.

I really wish there weren't international restrictions on Itunes. It's almost criminal that the best Hayley song of the year is tucked away as a bonus track on a Japanese edition of Hushabye.

Well, I'm really hoping it will be on the next album, and on all versions, but we can't count on that. There's no way I can wait till 2014 to have that song, anyway. And it's making me far more excited about receiving Hushabye than I would have without it. If BOTW isn't on her next album, I would say that is criminal! |

Thanks for putting that up, what an amazing performance! And acapella Amazing Grace was beautiful too, there needs to be more performances like that on UK TV. Really hoping to get my copy of the album soon.
