The only person round here who should be raising their voice is Hayley As one Josh Groban fan tweeted to Josh 'Plenty of outdoor voice songs on your upcoming album please!' i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I am wondering whether Bridge Over Troubled Water will appear on the next album? It seems to have had a great reception in Asia and I'm sure that Hayley will want all of her fans to hear it.

Well, I'll certainly try. Like I said, if I don't think someone is being very nice, I'm going to say something about it. Thanks for understanding. And yes, I would love for Hayley to raise her voice in "You Raise Me Up", maybe, on her new album. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I realize it's the language barrier, but so should you. There's no language barrier, English is my first language And I don't think things can be explained clearer. But Martin, I hope you are right Putting these things aside and getting back on topic, I think Bridge over troubled water should be least be in the next album or atleast a "Best of" album that might come after a few albums, with the kind of promotion the song is getting in Japan, I think it'll do great. And ofcourse I'm still waiting for a studio version of "The Prayer"

Hi Simba,
I assume you mean "The Prayer" (David Foster) rather that "Let your arms enfold me" prayer, which is track one on Odyssey.

A reply to Hayley's Tweet: Taken from the Union Chapel thread. I wonder what Hayley means by 'eventually'? That doesn't sound like early or mid 2014 does it? Perhaps we were too quick to think that the next album would be out sooner rather than later? Cheers, Jillian

I'll beleive it when I see it. That's the way it always is. Hayley will record it when she is good and ready. And it will be fabulous. That is our dream, but you have to give Hayley the space and time to create her masterpiece. However long it takes and not even Hayley knows that I'm sure.

Well, I thought one time not too long ago she said something about wanting to get her next album out next year. Wanting and being able to do it may be 2 different things. I hope there is one, but I don't expect it to be earlier than later next year, but I would be very happy if it was earlier than that. Since we haven't yet seen much sign of her touring next year (other than perhaps Australia), it would seem as though she might have some time to work (or continue to work) on her album. But of course, certain other life events could occur sometime before the album, too, so that could take away from it, as well. Not that that's a bad thing.

Hi all, The mythology surrounding this speculated 'self penned Hayley album' that is waiting to see the light of day has grown a life of it's own, hasn't it? Who knows if it even exists? I mean, I presume that Hayley has been working on something during the quiet periods over the last two years, but we don't know for sure.

Cats and pigeons !
If Hayley were to make an album and release it through Pledge Music as Jonathan Ansell has just done would she be in breach of her Decca contract ?

Maybe the "new songs and "surprise songs" mentioned in todays tweet will give us some indication as to the next album's content.

I saw #oldsongs and #newsongs. Didn't see anything about surprise songs. Stephen, we might all have our idea of a dream Hayley album, but not all of us would agree with each other. I only recognize 4 of those songs you mention. Now, I won't mind if her next album has a lot of songs I don't recognize at first, but ideally that would be because they're songs Hayley wrote. How about Hayley records her dream album? Some here seem to think that those of us who are hoping for original songs by Hayley wouldn't want any cover songs with them. That's not the case at all. I hardly expect her to go from recording 4 maximum original songs per album to a dozen or more. If she did 6 this time instead of 3 or 4, I would be very pleased.
