Hi Nick, Unfortunately, this special re-release of PURE (with the bonus CD) is only going to be available from New Zealand and Australia. At this stage, which is now very close to the release date, I have no information about pre-order from New Zealand. The following is a message I put under "news discussions" on 16th October. It gives you a link where you can order from in Australia: "On November 10th, Hayley's album - PURE - is to be re-released in Australia and New Zealand, and will have packaged with it a specially recorded bonus CD of four Christmas songs. These will only be available from Australia and New Zealand The track-listing for the PURE album is the same as the international release: 1) Pokarekare Ana 2) Never Say Goodbye 3) Who Painted The Moon Black? 4) River Of Dreams 5) Benedictus 6) Hine E Hine 7) Dark Waltz 8) Amazing Grace 9) My Heart And I 10) In Trutina 11) Beat Of Your Heart 12) Across The Universe Of Time 13) Heaven 14) Wuthering Heights The Bonus CD track-listing is as follows: 1) Away In A Manger 2) The Mummer's Dance (the Loreena McKennitt song) 3) Mary Did You Know? 4) Silent Night This special edition re-release is available for pre-order on line right now from a music store called Sound World. They are located in Newcastle, Australia and they specialise in selling exclusive Australian releases to fans overseas. The 2 CD set is being offered at just AUS$27.95 (plus shipping), which means that the bonus CD is FREE. This is a must have for any Hayley fan. To pre-order your copy, go to: Sound World With thanks to Peter Davias, Manager, Sound World, for providing us with this information and to Hayley's official site for the final confirmation. Keith.

The album arrived today via air mail. I't telling you, we were short changed on the UK release compared to the re issue and i'm not just taling abou the bonus disk.
Disk 1 has 3 more tracks than the one i got in the UK, including one from a live concert featuring Russel Watson.
Only cost me 16 pound, shipping and everything, monty well spent.

Hi,
Regarding the bonus tracks....
... does anyone know if she made brand-new versions of "Mary Did You Know" and "Silent Night" or were they simply reissued from "My Gift To You"?
Steve

The information we have is that these four tracks were specially recorded for this release. So, I would say that they are new recordings and not re-releases of previously issued tracks. As for the tracks on PURE. 1) The New Zealand edition has 12 tracks 2) The UK edition has 13 tracks 3) The international edition has 14 tracks 4) The Australian edition has 15 tracks I know, I have them all. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe Australian edition has Pokarekare Ana on it twice. Once sung solo and track 15 as a duet with Russell Watson - this track is an old one. It was recorded at the Auckland Domain on 6th February 2002. Frankly, I do not like Russell's rendition of this song due to his forced chopping of notes (accompanied by a forceful expelling of breath). Makes it sound as though he was struggling just to sing - most definitely what I would refer to as very poor technique. Hayley's singing was, as usual, faultless. Basically, therefore, I do not believe that we in the UK were short-changed in any way. But, clearly, there is the possibility of things looking as though we might have been.

I take your point Keith, that said i quite liked the 1st track on the re issue and if they are new then i've gone a bit OTT. You are right though, i also though that Russel Watson sounded like he has run a marathon o before he went on stage or was singing inside a scuba suit..
On the bonus CD, i only have two versions of Pure so i couldn't tell you. However i can say that i have Loreena McKinnets album and i've heard both versions of The Mummer's Dance, two contrasting styles but i like both.

I bought my copy off of ebay. The first CD has 12 tracks (normal NZ release), and the bonus CD has 6 tracks. 1) Pokarekare Ana 2) Amazing Grace 3) The Mummer's Dance 4) Mary Did You Know? 5) Silent Night 6) Away In A Manger
Paid $22 shipped. One of the best purchases of my life.
