Well done Dave. Great job. Love it.
Steve and I were sitting quite close together, so both his and mine are from a similar angle and you have to watch closely to work out which is which. But despite the different video formats and camera types and quality, Dave has put it all together seamlessly. Brilliant!

Well done Dave, The multi camera angles makes it look great. I am so proud of Hayley for writing Talk To Me, It really should have been a hit for Childline, I don't understand why it was never used. What's Childline? Maybe if she records it on her next album, she can use it for something like that... I'm guessing it's some sort of charity?

Hi Libby,
Childline is a charity telephone line that children can phone if they have a problem. They get a sympathetic ear and someone to help them if they need it.

Ah. And so how does a song figure into that?

Hello Libby! A song such as "Talk To Me" could be used to promote ChildLine in a TV commercial or other media. You can read all about ChildLine on the official website: www.childline.org.ukRichard

Ah. And so how does a song figure into that? Hi Libby, I remember sending you the lyrics of Talk To Me for Hayley online. Trained call takers man banks of Childline phonelines 24 hours a day. Talk To Me might be a typical one sided conversation of one of these calls. The child may say nothing and words similar to these might be used to coax a child to talk to the advisors on Childline. Childline also operates in Ireland and are constantly in need of additional funding.

So it's a big "well done" to Hayley, Martin D, our Tourist, Steve H and all! I have some more to do by the way, have become embroiled in some other seasonal things at the moment though! Cheers, Dave

Hi Paul, That is a very handsome clock! I've yet to go to my hobby shop for a clock movement Hoping to find hands similar to the Union Chapel clock.

Hi all, Hayley's antics during her introduction to "Talk To Me" at Union Chapel, as caught on MartinD's video, are simply hilarious, imo. Can't understand but about a tenth of what she is saying, but her actions and expressions are so funny that she even has the musician behind her laughing, as well as the audience. That is a real treat to see her like that. (Hope that there is a song or two on her next album where she sings something that she has created, and accompanies herself with her guitar. It appears that she is more than ready to head in that direction.) BobS Here is a clip cut - www.tubechop.com/watch/2064210

Yes, that's why I left it in, rather than cutting out her intro to get to the performance. It gives a bit of a taste of the lovely relaxed atmosphere that we enjoyed at that concert. The Union Chapel concert was not advertised except locally and on the fan forums. And it is a small venue anyway. So Hayley knew she was among friends. I can't imagine her doing anything like that in the Albert Hall. That's the nice thing about those small intimate venues. I think that is the best sort of place to see Hayley.

Eh, probably not. They could have very easily cut out the banter and left the song.

Er.. who are "they" Tailor? It was my decision to leave it in, and mine alone. When I video a performance, I like to try to convey to those who were not fortunate enough to be present what it was like. And that is what Hayley does!

Oh dear, sorry Martin! I was referring to the editors of Mario's DVD, because someone said they thought Hayley's pre-song banter to "Summer Fly" caused the editors to cut it (but whoever brought up the topic seems to have edited it out of their post). I love Hayley's banter, I was just saying if the editors of Mario's DVD thought Hayley's comments could ruffle some feathers (which they probably wouldn't, but you know some people ), they could have easily taken the talk out and left the song. Sorry for any confusion! -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
