Yes, that is very good news. Hoping to be there even more, since I missed out on the Valentines Tour due to Sue's hip operation. Those two always seem to bring the best out of each other, and I'm sure they are both looking forward to performing together again.

Not sure where he got that information since tickets are still available online. I sincerely hope though that it becomes a sell-out. I'm hoping also that it has a similar atmosphere to that we experienced at Shepherds Bush many moons ago.

Well, I have a ticket and am hoping to be there. Despite the difficult location if you live outside London, I would still hope to drive and park somewhere near the location, since you have to order rail tickets months in advance to get a decent price, or even a seat. And due to my wife's illness, I can't be sure what I will be doing even one day ahead. I need to be in control of my own travel arrangements, not dancing to someone else's tune. So I have to wing it. I don't mind walking a couple of miles if I can find a place to park for a few hours. But London seems very hostile to motorists.

Martin D Martin There is Highbury Fields near by where there is chance you may find a parking place it is across the road from Highbury and Islington station

One way you might be able to avoid most of London would be to drive to Cockfosters underground station, where there is apparently a 400 spaces pay and display car park. It's 2.5 miles off the M25 J24. I'd have thought that spaces will start to become available there from 5 to 6pm, maybe earlier. It's 25 minutes from there on the Underground to Highbury & Islington - change from Piccadilly line to Victoria line at Finsbury Park. You or someone would need to verify all this but it might be worth checking out. I'll probably do my usual park at Guildford thing, train to Waterloo then the Underground. Here's a google maps of the area, centred on Union Chapel!Cheers, Dave

Martin D Hi Martin, I did consider a ferry crossing and driving to this event, but it began to look like an expensive three day trip, Flights being quicker, cheaper and far more efficient. I had a good look around on Google earth. There is a small shopping centre and car park (£12 a day if the sign in street view is still there) directly behind the church itself. There are also a few spaces directly behind the church in the laneway reserved for workshops, apartments etc.
