I am surprised there were no further posts in this thread. Was the weather bad, I got the impression they were expecting gale force eight winds that night, that's enough to send a good percentage of the passengers to their bunks. maybe the performers too, if it was their first time at sea. Hi Comet, I am expecting that we might find a little something on the Saga Pearl Cruise forum when the ship returns later this month. As the passengers were said to be an ideal audience for Hayley, being over 50, they might not be very active posters. Am not expecting much, but at least am checking it regularly. BobS EDIT: - There is a very brief mention of Hayley on Captain Kees Spekman's blog which reads, "Showtime featured the Filipino choir, who opened the show for the beautiful and amazing voice of Hayley Westenra,....". The blog may be found here - travel.saga.co.uk/holidays/ocean-cruises/saga-pearl-ii/captains-blog.aspx?year=2013&month=11(scroll to LISBON November 23, 2013)

Hello Bob! I'd never heard of Jeffery Deaver either, so I did a bit of detective work via Google and Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffery_DeaverI never read novels because I always lose the plot. Richard

Here's the quote about Hayley, which is mostly complimentary:
Hmm, maybe she needs to start warming up a little more before she gets on stage? Because people seem to be saying this sort of thing more and more. Just a thought.
