In fact, at the time Hayley must have been rehearsing 'Never Saw Blue'. Martin

Hayley Will have a familiar companion on the Cruise. Lets hope they get some good weather. Every time I see her name, I can't help but think of Captain Peacock of "Are You Being Served". I used to love watching that program. I read that he passed away just this last March. Kerenza and Hayley appear to enjoy each other's company, from what I have read, so it is nice to see that they are together on this trip. BobS

Phew! Made it! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDidn't knowingly see Hayley as I was in Mayflower Park next door to the City cruise terminal but I did take some ship pics and a short video (for later) as the Saga Pearl II departed, and shortly after it, the Adonia (the one at the back of the three). Note the van on the dockside near the ship's bow, it doesn't look so small on this one - and you can see the seaman leaning over the last of the mooring ropes. I've uploaded that lifejacket twitpic as well as it's so cool! Three ships - or is it two and a half ships? Click for much largerSaga Pearl II about to cast off - click for much larger Hayley and band - Hayley's twitpic just after embarkation on Saga Pearl II Cheers, Dave

By their faces, it's kind of like a Halloween picture. With all the orange, and their horrified faces. LOL Hayley doesn't look the least bit horrified, just playing along. LOL

I guess it's a drill. They are all wearing lifejackets.

Three ships - or is it two and a half ships? Click for much larger Dave, that's a great picture, but I can see four ships. You must be thinking of Christmas already! Richard

From Twitter yesterday: Click on the image for an enlargement. It looks like the same viewpoint as Dave's video. Richard

Richard Hi Richard, Yes, that would be from a photographer on my left in Mayflower Park, there were only three of us taking photos and she left as soon as she'd taken her piccy. I guessed she was a Saga person, in spite of her young age! Cheers, Dave

I am surprised there were no further posts in this thread.
Was the weather bad, I got the impression they were expecting gale force eight winds that night, that's enough to send a good percentage of the passengers to their bunks.
maybe the performers too, if it was their first time at sea.
