Hi everyone, Here are the edited highlights of Saturday Kitchen (30 minutes), the video and some screen shots: Saturday Kitchen highlightsSorry it took so long. There were some issues to resolve! The Youtube quality in 720p HD was disappointing in spite of uploading a 4GB file at 20Mbps, so I upscaled it before re-uploading, from 720p to 1080p. This has fooled Youtube into using a better bitrate and the quality is better now, for anyone who can view it in full HD at full screen.

Nice video! I feel bad for Hayley, she gets asked the same questions every interview. Of course that's commonplace with a new album, but it must be a bit bothersome nevertheless; at this point she must have those answers memorized  -Rory |

In particular, the "I took it all in my stride" line (not in this interview, though). Sometimes I even wonder if she got such a phrase from someone like her mum. |

Hmm maybe so. And particularly her description of Hushabye, always starting out by informing people that it was her label's idea, but then reassuring that she liked it as well. And then always the little mini-bio about signing at 13 and being the fastest selling classical artist and such. But hopefully there's always someone new in the audience who now knows the tales of Hayley Westenra  -Rory |

I watched my last half of Saturday Kitchen last night...I really enjoyed it! Thanks again Dave!
PS. I see the show credits are easier to read than most US shows!

Hi Joe,  @ the credits! In fact, on the live TV show you could read the credits OK but they did whizz them across the screen rather fast for my video deinterlacer to handle, so the moving letters ended up blurred. I definitely wasn't going to try doing it all it again just for that, though!  Cheers, Dave |
