Not sure if anybody has seen this, or how official it may or may not be, but on Sainsbury's site they have Lullaby as a pre-order CD with artwork to be confirmed (currently showing Hayley's Wiegenlied single cover) with a release date of 17 June 2013. Here's the link: www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk/en/Music/CD/Hayley-Westenra/Lullaby/product.html?product=E11221191The "dispatched in 11 working days" is obviously wrong and presumably just standard text they use. Has anyone else seen a date around this time that might confirm it or otherwise? Cheers Colin

CD Universe has had it up for a week or so, title Lullaby (singular) release 11th July (in the USA presumably). The fact is we still don't know, but a June release seems likely I think.

Hi everyone,
I hope we aren't going to get into too much speculation based on the on-line CD sellers again, we went through all this last month and we know they cannot be relied on.
An official announcement is still planned for this month, so it's not long before we will know.
Cheers, Dave

Yes, I agree with Dave. Best we wait till we hear from an official source. I'm sure there will be plenty of time to order before the release date.
But even beter I think is to buy it in a shop or supermarket if possible. This encourages shops to stock (and display) Hayley's CDs.

I just clicked on the Sainsbury's link and the picture it now shows is a recent one, it looks like she is waring the blue dress posted above so maybe they have more info this time, or how did they get that picture.

If they can get latest pics, and the fact that Lullaby is not mentioned in just one store, I think the title is most definitely that XD...unless hayley did it on purpose to put us off : D

The Sainsbury's link is the same one that was there before everything was denied last month. OK, the photo changed today but it's not an album cover.
We don't know anything, except that Hayley has recorded an album for release this year.

Hi all, Re my order for Lullaby with Sainsbury entertainment. They are now giving a release date for the 17TH, June last year.Probably a typing error. They have now changed the cover image to the vintage dress one. I have the promise of a return call from their administration section to clarify and will advise on any developments.
Stephen.

As for any possibility of being able to buy her albums in store in the US... I just checked the in-store status of some of Hayley's CDs at Barnes & Noble. 2 stores in my area say they have Paradiso in stock! Downtown Seattle and one another city nearby called Bellevue. Bellevue and the Northgate Mall in north Seattle say they have Odyssey! And Bellevue again says they have Celtic Treasure! I'm very surprised that they'd still have these albums! I'm starting to think I should go to the Bellevue store for the new album, since they seem a little bit more Hayley-oriented! LOL I know, I could plan a trip to the botanical gardens, and make a little stop at the store. I'm definitely ready for summer to get here.

Just an observation, when cds are sold in a shop from a rack.
It is better if the title or the artists name is across the top edge, Clearly printed, legible. This is often the only part visible in some of the racks as the cd in the section below overlaps it.
Consider albums that had silly covers, The White Album ... nothing on the cover, just looks like a separator or a spacer in the rack.
Albums with no title or artist name. sometimes it works, Dark Side of the Moon's prism has become somewhat iconic for instance. But sometimes it just causes a marketing flop.
A good photo of the artists face is always going to work, eyes straight into the viewers eyes helps.
The photo we are discussing, too much make up.. always a yuck factor for me. Hayley has no need for make up to that extent.

Hi all, Just heard back from Sainsbury entertainment. They say they have checked with their back room supplier and have been given confirmation of a release date on the 3rd June. The album title given was also said to be Lullaby.Whether this is accurate is not we will have to wait and see . To thank me they have also discounted the price to £6.99 however, have put up the online price to £9.99.

But they still show a release date of June 6th?? Honestly, I don't think it really matters. 3 days difference is not that big of a deal (as compared to several months). -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I wouldn't read too much into any of the dates we've seen so far though and even when confirmed, slippage as the date gets closer is not uncommon. I'm interested to see how they handle Worldwide release dates as it might give us some clues as to where Hayley is likely to be at various times this summer! Cheers, Dave
