Hey all, I haven't been able to find anything about this... I was wondering if anyone knows a way to send Hayley a letter. I've been wanting to write her a letter for years, and now that I finally conjured up the guts to write one, I realized I don't know her address.
Does anyone know?

I don't know! I've always wanted to send her fanmail, but I didn't know how! The only time I've ever gotten to do something of that sort was last year for Christmas, and I got to send her a card through the official forum. It would be nice if we might be able to do that sort of thing again, but with just plain fanmail. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S. - May I be the first to give you a warm welcome to the forum.

Hello classyandraste and welcome to our forum! The best way to contact Hayley as with most well known performers is through her artist management Bandana Management International on their website at: www.banman.co.uk/This information can also be found on our "About" page on our website at: www.hayley-westenra-international.com/content/about-hayley-westenra-international-hwiHayley is also on Twitter @hayleywestenra. Good luck! Dave

There always used to be contact information on her official site, I'd imagine whatever they show there is the best bet, other than Twitter. Hayley sometimes replies to tweets. But of course, you can't write as much all at once.

Okay, so you write to Hayley. Will she eagerly read it and personally respond, or (more likely) will a staff member open and vet the missive on a slow day and cook up a "reply" for Hayley to initial next time she's in town and tending to business?
I think it's nice to send fan letters to your favorite artists, but I wouldn't hold out hope that it will go all the way through to them given how busy they are.

We just saw last year that she personally signed a program (or something) for a fan who wrote to her management, because he ended up being unable to attend one of her concerts due to illness. Now, does that sound like the cold, clinical person you make her out to be in your discouraging post?

I suspect Hayley doesn't encourage fan mail because she knows she wouldn't have time to to do it justice. Also, if she publishes an address for private fan messages, she leaves herself open to abusive ones too. And don't say she wouldn't get them, there ARE people around who don't like her, spam her forums and YouTube channels. They don't last long on HWI thanks to the vigilance of our moderators though. Twitter is something she can manage, she gets a lot of tweets and can choose to reply if she wants to. But nobody should expect her to reply, or feel disappointed if she doesn't. We have sent her Christmas Cards via the Official Forum, but of course she doesn't have to reply to them. And she was rather late seeing the ones we sent last year, since they were posted to New Zealand, and it was nearer to Easter before she saw them. But she did tweet her thanks. If you want to meet Hayley she often (but not always) makes herself available after concerts for signings and photos. When she does she speaks to everyone who wants to meet her however long it takes.

Martin, we certainly don't expect replies to the cards, and I think Hayley realizes that. They are just that: Christmas cards. We just feel lucky enough to be able to send them to her at all, to show her our appreciation and give her our best wishes.

Absolutely Libby. I didn't intend to suggest that we expected a reply. It is just as you say, enough to be able to express our appreciation and wish her well. It can be a lonely life, and for me I just want her to know that we appreciate what she does and want to find some way to encourage and thank her.

Wow. Hayley sounds like a really nice girl. But yah, I actually partly agree with the discouraging poster I was just thinking after I posted my question, that, if I could find out her address, then someone just awfully mean could find out her address, and I'd rather her hear the cheers at her concerts than the spiteful words someone would write down. Somehow people think that being online means you can be ever so much more spiteful and murderous than you would be in person! But it would be cool if we could send her some surprise mail all together unexpected! Like a Christmas in July! And the moderators could moderate it to make sure none of it's mean or anything! Good idea? Funky? What do you think?

I don't think Hayley is cold, clinical, or any other bad quality as a matter of course. What she is, like everyone else, is human, and like any human she only has so many hours in a day, and only so much energy. If you want to write to her, by all means write to her, but don't take it personally if she doesn't answer. You might have a better chance of connecting with her by going to one of her shows and trying to connect with her afterward, though those unfortunately are rare occurrences in the US.

But it would be cool if we could send her some surprise mail all together unexpected! Like a Christmas in July! And the moderators could moderate it to make sure none of it's mean or anything! Good idea? Funky? What do you think? The first time the official forum pulled this off was actually in July of 2009, but only because one of the members from the US was going to a few of her concerts in the UK, and was able to deliver them all to her personally, and even photographed her holding them. So it's certainly not a funky idea. Hayley just received her Christmas cards in March, and we have no idea where she'll be in July anyway. We at the official forum already have a system going; we are already in contact with the ones who will pass along her package, and have been entrusted with where to send it. You don't even have to be a member of the forum to participate, just be a Hayley fan! Though we certainly wouldn't mind if you wanted to join. I'm sure the mods here could manage the same thing, but I certainly see no reason for this forum to have a separate one. We are ALL fans of Hayley, so we should all join together as fans of Hayley. The official forum, which can be found through her official site, deserves much more attention than it gets. We do the best we can there with 2 mods, and not nearly as much member participation as there is here, but we know Hayley appreciates us just as much as this forum.

Thank you! Oh boy, that's exciting!
I would love to join the Official Forum! In fact, I just did. I'll have the same username there, make things simple haha!
