Good news! I wonder if this means that Radio 2 is finally taking an interest in Hayley. Perhaps even enough to play her music. I would think Hushabye would be something they could play something fromk occasionally.

Thanks for the reminder, Richard! Hayley was her usual cheery self and the interview lasted for over 13 minutes, including a full play of Sleep On. If you missed it, you can listen to the interview later today on the BBC iPlayer, or you can listen to it now, on the HWI website. Here it is: Hayley interview today on BBC Radio 2 Cheers, Dave

It was a lovely interview/chat. Happened to turn on BBC iPlayer just before Hayley starts to talk. She was very cheerful and excited about the album, lots of giggles. What a great way to start the day! Cheers,

I happened to hear the interview while driving back from work. They played sleep on and it was a great interview I think.

Thanks Dave. A fun interview but more importantly, a great plug for Hayley and the new album. I suspect Hayley will be hitting the UK regional radio stations in due course but, unfortunately, the usual guaranteed TV appearance on the Alan Titchmarsh show is unlikely now as I believe the series has finished for the summer.

Ah, just listened! Lovely interview. Not much we haven't heard, but it's nice coming from Hayley. Now, I wonder how long till she makes that rock album... :je -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Thanks Dave for making today's interview available on our HWI website. I've shared the link to it on our Facebook page.
I really enjoyed Hayley's cheerful and delightful demeanor throughout. And of course the song 'Sleep On' is very calming to me.

At first that little tab that goes across wasn't even showing, and the numbers wouldn't move. Anyway, I got to hear it all eventually. I do wish you'd left the entire Josh Groban song that came on at the end! It's my favorite off his new album. So, not that I haven't heard it a few times already, but....

Thanks for the upload, Dave! I listened to Hayley's interview live, and it was the best part of the show by a very long way. It was reminiscent of the good old days when BBC Radio 2 was worth listening to. Richard

The audio file is quite big, 20MB so if your connection to Europe was slow at the time, that could explain your initial problems. I've now added an alternative version with a much smaller file but slightly lower quality, which should play quicker if you or anyone else have further problems with it. Cheers, Dave

Thanks for recording that Dave. I just got round to listening to it. Lovely interview.
I though that "Sleep On" sounded better than ever on that recording. Perhaps the better sound quality does work, even on my laptop. although to be fair it was the laptop with the best sound system I could find when I bought it last year, and I also use external speakers.
I'm looking forward to "dream a little Dream" on Hushabye. I've been trying to imagine how Hayley would sound singing it, and I'm quite excited by the prospect.

This is about the nearest thread I could find.
Hayley was mentioned on Radio 2 today! It was as a (wrong) answer to a question on Ken Bruce's Popmaster Quiz.
