Is there not a Jewel thread? lol I looked through all 17 pages and didn't see it. I caught her performance on the ACM Awards tonight and remembered THIS beautiful performance she did on Regis awhile back. Quite haunting indeed. I'd love to hear Hayley do a version of it P.s. Good of you to begin one. Jewel, like Hayley, had a very humble start to her music career.

Many of Jewel's songs are pure ear candy. "Who Will Save Your Soul" is incredible.
She fits neatly into the category of "singers who have two distinctly different voices which they use in the same song." In her case there's the soft, almost childish voice and then there's a powerful and brassy voice which often kicks in unexpectedly. (Other singers with two voices are Dolores O'Roirdan of The Cranberries and Lana Del Rey.)
