I quite by accident, stumbled upon a U-Tube presentation of Hayley singing the Star Spangled Banner the other day. She was at a racing venue like NASCAR or something like that. (the caption said rare) I'm sure she did quite fine, but the actual quality of the U-Tube clip left a lot to be desired. So I don't feel like I got an accurate rendering of that experience. Such are the perils of U-Tubing, I know.  I'm wonder if 1. anyone knows what the time period on this was and 2. if anyone knows if there is a more clear sampling of Hayley singing this elsewhere in cyberland. Thanks.  |

1. It was in 2004.
2. This is all any of us have ever found of it, and I'm pretty sure that's all there is.

Personally, I didn't find the quality too unbearable - I could tell that Hayley did a great job. It's refreshing to hear someone sing The Star Spangled Banner without riffing so much. The video was "rare" in more ways than one  I find it a bit odd that people were taking still pictures of the performance, but no one had a video camera handy that we know of -Rory |

I suppose it's possible that only still photographers were present for the performance, but it seems more likely to me that there would be video cameras filming at a popular event at all times -Rory |
