Hi All.
Just returned from a few days touring Southwest of England. Just in time it seems although we don't know how many seats are pre-booked for selling on.
Despite several attempts the auditorium map would not show so I had to select best available which put me in L (stalls) a full price (I'm ancient but the best seats do not allow concessions).
Any one previous experience of this hall and thoughts on how fast it is filling? I decided not to risk it but to book and be done with it leaving ticket to be collected in case things go awry and there is a chance of reselling.
Timing is midweek which should help with hotel costs as I don't think we are quite in the holiday period. The purpose is to see Dublin if not Ireland as well as Hayley.
Ironically, only a fortnight earlier I will be in the Scottish border country. Now for some detailed planning for both locations--and I haven't got myself sorted out from having been touring since Bournemouth!
Cheers all. Who's for Ireland?

Was I hearing things, did Marty Whelan say Hayley is to perform with the Orchestra Sinfonietta di Roma conducted by David Brophy in the National Concert Hall ? The NCH listing does say the RTÉ Concert Orchestra

Hello Paul! See Hayley's latest tweet: Richard Thanks Richard, I listen to some of Marty's show on my radio alarm clock, so it wakes me up, but sometimes it takes a while to get the brain in gear and sometimes I just fall asleep again : so I was not quite sure what he said.

Hello folks! There are only five days to go to this concert. I just had a look at the National Concert Hall's website, and the concert appears to be almost sold out. Richard

Good.
That's how it should be with our girl!
l'm glad I booked ahead before worrying about how I was going to get there. Never travelled so light! Interesting experience. Final test yet to come. I was originally going by train and ferry--for the travel experience--but that meant co-ordinating several separate bookings. Dumped it all on Wexas. Not cheap but in negotiating costs concluded BMI (in the process of transferring to BA control) in fact worked out cheaper. So I'm taking basic cabin luggage intending to hop on and off like a bus--as they do in the States.
Just got back from the border country and now heading to Heathrow for an overnight and decent evening meal. Catch the airport bus tomorrow after a full breakfast (Faryl loves those!) and then Dublin. Usually use a Hayley concert for a weekend/midweek break to look around. First trip to Eire. Gosh, exciting. No laptop so no communication until next weekend. I'm sure someone will have posted by then.
Cheers
Peter S.

Man I wish I could go...It would cost me $2k for the plane ticket itself...and I dont even know how much american dollers a hotel is there for a night or 2. Im saving up $2k right now just in case she goes anywhere by the time I get enough money for a plane ticket.
