Hey everyone!!! Since the old poll was outdated and locked, I decided to start THIS ONE! I voted for Paradiso (of course). Share your thoughts! And BTW, please only vote for HSJP after it comes out.
-Best from Bama
P.S.- To the admins, feel free to lock the poll when it gets outdated.

Hi Taylor, I had to think about my choice. "Pure" was just amazing when I first heard of it. But I ended up picking "Paradiso". One thinks of how hard Hayley worked on this album, the different languages and singing styles i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifGreat poll, my friend. ~ Joe

It was nearly impossible to decide but I had to go with Hayley Sings Japanese Songs #1. If only Hayley had written her own Japanese-themed pop songs for the album (It CAN be done!)...
I was torn between Pure, Odyssey, HSJS and Winter Magic.

Hayley's best album is Pure but my personal favorite is Paradiso. Pure is the best because it's the most musically diverse and was recorded when Hayley's voice was crystal clear. It will never sound that way again. Pure was a masterpiece vocally and musically.
However, Paradiso is amazing and then some. It sneaks up on you and follows you around as you go about your affairs. The orchestration is brilliant and Hayley's expressiveness has never been richer. Ennio Morricone is the king of evocative cinematic music and each song on Paradiso takes you on a special journey. I've played it more times than I can count and it never gets tired on my ears.

Hello Taylor! I've moved your new poll to the Albums board and modified the title slightly to avoid any confusion with the old poll, which is now locked. Richard

Winter Magic for me. But you forgot to include 'Prayer'.

Only realised it after I made the poll. SORRY!!! Probably should have added an "Other" button.

Hi everyone,
I was torn between HSJS 1 and Paradiso. I went for paradiso in the end as I love the different lnaguages, the orchestral arrangements and the emotion Hayley puts into it and the lyrics she wrote! I think pure is a great classical album and I used to think her voice sounded best on that one, however when I have my mp3 on shuffle and hear a pure song right after a paradiso one it make me appriciate how much Hayley's emotional interpretation of the music has improved and even the vocal quality so I had to go for paradiso as my fav.

Pure is a great album, but I have to agree that Hayley has come a long way since then. Her work on Paradiso is just so much more accomplished. Also, I always felt that her voice on Pure was a pale imitation of what she sounds (and sunded like back then) live.
Paradiso is a fantastic album. No doubt about it, I can't fault anything about it. A masterpiece.
So, why did I vote for HSJS then? I think because there is more of Hayley in it. Pure was a team effort, masterminded by Giles Martin. Paradiso, well, that is Ennio Morricone's masterpeice as much as Hayley.s.
HSJS though, was much more based on Hayley's creativity. She wrote the lyrics for most of the songs (we don't know how much help she had of course), and I just feel that there is more of Hayley's, rather than someone else's genius in it. That's why I love it.

Taken as a whole, I would have to say Paradiso. While my favourite Hayley songs are Dark Waltz and Mists Of Islay, and I love both the Japanese albums, I'd have to say that the overall quality of songs on Paradiso is probably higher than Hayley's other albums when looked at as a whole.
Not an easy decision for me, though, I must admit...

It's a no-brainer for me: Paradiso.

I find it impossible to pick a favorite album of Hayley's. I have most all of her albums and there is a song on every album I consider one of my favorites. I also think that so many albums are from her early years...so how can you judge them against the later ones fairly.
