Thanks Dave so much for your prep. of the clips. They're both significant Hayley history stuff & will be valued by all. I love the "no no no no, we don't want to go there" part. in the Closeup clip....delightful !!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Martin, I'll send you a PM re your difficulty. Hi Martin, I don't know what the problem is, I tested the videos with IE6 and Mozilla Firefox. It could be the enhanced security built into IE7, detection and installation of plugins (Media Player plugin in this case) is so I am told no longer transparent to the user so you may have to take certain steps to get it. Hopefully, Graeme will have the answer, in which case don't forget to tell us all about it! Is anyone else having this problem? Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave I am also having problems with these video clips but mine seem different to Martin's I was able to access the viewer which said I needed additional software, which the system searched for and downloaded for me (5.5mb). I then had to re-boot the computer which, initially would only default to Realplayer before it crashed! I gave up and tried again a few minutes ago but Realplayer is STILL telling me to download the additional software I downloaded 3 hours ago. Any suggestions Grant

Hi Grant, What Browser and version are you using? Is it the same for the other videos on the video index page? Are you on Windows XP or something else? It sounds like RealPlayer is the problem - it's probably hijacked the Windows Media playlist files (which is often a bad idea) they are .wax files. Do you know how to reset the default Media Player for .wax (and .wmv) files to Windows Media Player? That may fix it. Thanks Marianne, glad you can play them! I have by the way now improved the Close Up file, which some people found did not play the last few seconds... now it does. You can also seek to particular points in the video, once your PC has downloaded ALL the video into its buffer. Here is a reminder of the link to save having to search back for it: HWI 2006/7 Video MenuCheers, Dave

Thanks again for the clips everyone, and special thanks to Dave for putting them online on HWI. Graeme, I also loved that part. I was laughing out loud at her reaction - it will be great to see her singing during the World Cup, I believe it's the first time she sings for such an event related to the All Blacks?! That would be fun if the French TV filmed her reactions during the matches but I have little hope, here. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI already can't wait to see her sing the national anthem, I'm sure her eyes will sparkle with joy and pride.

I have checked the other videos and I can't play them either!! So it looks as though Real Player has done something naughty. I'm no expert with computers so your help in resetting would be appreciated! Thanks Grant

Thanks for posting the videos on the main site, Dave! They both played perfectly in the Internet Café using Media Player 9. Best Wishes, Richard

I tested the clips as well; they both played perfectly with IE7 but I had to activate some plugins first.

I tested the clips as well; they both played perfectly with IE7 but I had to activate some plugins first. Hi Stephany, Which plugins were they, do you remember? On the suggestion of my older son I changed to using mozilla firefox browser & it seems a very trouble free program. Needs to be checked for settings tho but they're pretty obvious. It also has its own download manager. Free to download too. Another thing: I downloaded a realplayer update a while back which was trying to trap me into paying for it....a bogus one. I smelt a rat & went elsewhere for my update....that may be the source of your trouble Grant? Graeme

Hi Stephany, Which plugins were they, do you remember? It was ActiveX. Hope it helps! Back to topic - I loved the interviews but it would be great if we could have the full concert video. They probably recorded the whole thing.

We know they exist but they're stuck in some archive(s) well out of reach of Hayley Fans. It makes me think of the breathtakingly beautiful little clip of 'Romanza' by Hayley 2002 which, it seems, has lost its beginning & end. Graeme

Hi Richard, Thanks for much for posting that video link: I always find myself laughing at stuff Hayley says - esp the part about her not being able to pay her bills on time. She is quite funny. Glad that even though she is homesick she can laugh a little about it... I wonder if she succeeded in her little "mission" to President Bush?! Helen Clark was visiting the US recently, so the President must have been going whats with my getting an earful from all these New Zealanders recently! best regards, Peter Tong PS: the no discussion part about the All Blacks having a loss at a game she happened to sing at was classic too. Too funny. I'm starting to think Hayley has another talent - making people laugh!
