I think Rolando was doing a Charlie Chaplin impression at the end there, Martin The entire tramp in the street setting made it seem very appropriate, to me *** Am I the only one who thought Hayley could have drowned HIM out any time she wanted, BTW? Sure, he has a strong voice, but I felt honours were pretty much even between them in terms of who dominated.

No, I don't think so, but Hayley did really well in spite of it. It was really only one place where she was completely drowned out, but still, it took a bit of concentrating to still hear Hayley as well as I would have liked to hear her. But her opening notes were truly beautiful. It's worth a listen just for that part,... and to see her gorgeous dress!

Hello folks! I've seen several comments describing Rolando Villazon as Mr. Bean in a curly wig! Richard

In fact the duet as broadcast was compiled from two takes. There is a very obvious continuity error with Hayley's dress. It was not at all obvious, the matching up was very well done actually, and I've noticed that thing before, but I thought it was just the lighting XD And Rolando is mr. bean's brother EDIT: I think you're wrong Roger, as obvious as you make it seem to be, I think she was wearing the camisole all the while, it's just made up of such a thin, and transparent material, that only when it's subjected to light, you can see it, in the video at 6:43 secs, you can see the camisole, and it disappears as she turns away from the light, so I think it's the light that's making it visible....And at 7:27 it's even more obvious that the camisole is there all along, see And to finally CONFIRM that she was wearing it throughout, watch from 7:38 onwards, you can see the camisole being lit and it shows, when it was invisible first, Sorry for posting all this for nothing, no offense to anyone as well, I just found it quite rude that something as minor as this (which wasn't even an error!), had to be mentioned as a very obvious one... EDIT: Now i'm starting to see it everywhere, at 5:45, she turns and again you see the camilose being seen from nothing a few seconds back... And it's because around 6:33 she comes under DIRECT light, that the camisole is lit so much....XD So I don't even think it was two takes (if this was your reason...)

Hello Roger and Simba! I suspect they edited in a brief camera shot from the dress rehearsal, rather than doing two separate takes in the actual performance. Richard

I seriously think it was just one take, it was such a flawless performance, I edited my post with what I think is evidence XD EDIT: and thanks for posting the last video Dave! It was amazing how hayley was the highlight by performance and appearance in the whole programme! XD Even when it's this small, hayley stands out! So happy she wore that outfit XD

Hi Roger, Simba and Richard Not even sure we should be discussing this LOL! But I find it odd that Hayley would wear the dress with different accoutrement's whether it be dress rehearsal of the actual performance. If the dress requires something to be worn with it, then logically, Hayley is going to wear it that way all the time. On that basis, I'm putting my money on Simba - not continuity errors - not segments added from elsewhere Best wishes Grant

It was amazing how hayley was the highlight by performance and appearance in the whole programme! XD Even when it's this small, hayley stands out! So happy she wore that outfit XD Hi Simba and everyone, As I said earlier, I played my original off-air recordings back in HD - twice - as soon as Roger-G said there were two takes, as I don't usually miss such things, and I looked carefully for continuity errors. I'm certainly not infallible but I couldn't see any! I said wasn't going to go looking for camisoles when he mentioned that, but now it's become a bit of an issue, I've had to do it, as it's the best way to be fair to Hayley, Rolando and ITV. Suffice it to say that you are right Simba, it's there all the time, but it's so sheer that you can only see it at certain lighting angles. As Hayley turns, you can (several times) see it slowly become visible, or apparently disappear. Also, as Grant said, it's clearly part of her outfit for the performances, and there is no reason I can think of why she or anyone would want to change that if other takes were needed. Perhaps our fashion ladies would comment on that? So in the absence of other evidence (perhaps there is some?), I still think it was done, surprisingly and amazingly if it was, in one eight minute take. I tend to concur with Grant's comment and I think, when we have all agreed on this, I may delete the photographic evidence posted above! Well done Simba for your excellent observational skills and analysis. Cheers, Dave

Lol thank you XD, sorry if I went a little overboard, but I just thought it was unfair to judge a flawless(I think) performance so easily , because just to see hayley walk up the stairs and take her first note, gives me all the reason to prove that it was a well rehearsed performance

Hi Simba, No problem, I see what you mean so I've deleted the word you didn't like (and your comment about it). Only you and I now know what it was! For anyone who missed my earlier post, all the videos, with an extra one of the final bows and two separate ones of Hayley's songs, are now up at HWI here: All the videos in one placeDave

Hi Dave Thanks for the "one place" video combination. Let's not forget that Hayely recorded "Tonight" (and more) for her WSS album three years ago. It was superb then and even better now. I still think that Hayley's voice and vocal range fits musicals extremely well and you never know, one day........... Martin
