Hi Richard, Thanks for the link. Hayley's work with Debbie Wiseman never ceases to amaze me. Her voice is absolutely splendid. Stephany

I'll buy both anyway the question is only where to buy it. The CD is a little cheaper in Germany the DVD is a lot cheaper in the UK. But I think I buy everything here then I don't have to hurry in Bath to get everything together. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThomas

Thanks Richard and I have to say, I do rather like that! The rest of Debbie's music is pretty good too; I've just played the entire sequence of clips through twice, most enjoyable. She should produce a "Best Of" compilation to coincide with her March concert in London. I think it would do well, Classic FM would be certain to promote it. Watch out John Williams, Debbie is coming to get you! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Is there anything this girl can't do!!
I've never really heard enough of Hayley's 'Flood' to give an opinion but OMG this is fantastic!!!!!!
Debbies other music (I've not listened to all the clips) is amazing and so powerful. They make an awesome duo!
I don't usually buy soundtracks, but hey! I may have to make an exception for once.
Beautiful stuff!
Best wishes Grant

I buy a lot of soundtracks and - I need to say - I think Debbie Wiseman is very, very good. My (other) idol Hans Zimmer needs to watch his back too! Stephany

Am I the only member who has had the privilege of listening to the whole soundtrack? I was instantly persuaded to purchase the album after my reply back from Debbie.
I enjoy listening to movie soundtracks whilst I am working. Not too much of a distraction. This is delightful with Hayley popping up on four tracks all with the same haunting theme.
I left the Royal Albert Hall on 1st June and the theme from 'Flood' seemed to disappear instantly from my memory. Then I hear the first track from the soundtrack album and I appear to be whistling along with Hayley as if I had known the melody all my life. I think that says something for Debbie Wiseman's music and her chosen vocalist.

I have ordered my CD from uk amazon and should arrive by November. I can't wait as her haunting voice in some of the songs gives me goosebumps.

Hi Stephany & everyone, A few nights ago I watched the Flood movie on commercial tele but, stupidly, did not tape it. When Hayley's lovely voice flooded into it I was swept away & started to kick myself. Anyhow, I thought to myself, I'll just rent the video. Well, that was dumb as Flood DVD's are not yet available. The movie was difficult to watch as the accursed ad breaks interrupted its flow continually ( hate ads !!!) so I would like to watch it in its entirety. I got the impression that Hayley's contribution was pretty well identical each time it appeared & that it emphasised the inevitability of a full scale tragedy no matter what measures the authorities tried to implement. Graeme PS I used to love Maurice Jarre as a soundtrack composer in movies such as Doctor Zhivago, Lawrence of Arabia , Ryans Daughter .......

Hi All, For anybody who's listened to the Flood Theme from Debbie Wiseman's site: What are the words?
I still can't work them out & can't find them on the web.
Nearest I can get is HURRY SAVE US.....HURRY SAVE US
and a bit further ........COME SAVE US LORD.....
Anybody have anything to add ?....or take away for that matter....
Graeme

Graeme Graeme, I have listened to the album many times (and heard Hayley at the Royal Albert Hall). Each time it is a haunting theme and, as you say, the words are difficult to work out. A little late I know, but I have just opened up the album sleeve. (Sorry Debbie, Hayley and the RPO.) Inside we have the answer. The sleeve features interviews by Michael Beek of Music from the Movies. Part can be seen here: www.musicfromthemovies.com/review.asp?ID=7073I made the text larger in the second quote. Richard

Wow Drew & thankyou, That is very interesting.....somewhat mystical then. I even thought there was some Latin there but I didn't say it. We're so used to Hayley's absolute clarity that it mystifies us when she's "not clear". And of course she's the maestra of vocalisation. Graeme

Hello everybody! Hayley's song is getting quite a few plays on Classic FM. Jane Jones gave it a spin just before 7:00 this morning, so the day got off to a good start. It's high time I bought this album, so I'm going to HMV later today! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard
