This will be a big thing for Hayley. Andre Rieu sells so many DVDs and CDs in Australia. His concerts are massive and sell out huge sports stadiums. I would wager that this collaboration will mean more Australians will hear Hayley than with Paradiso and Treasure put together. Hi Jillian and everyone, Andre is a big seller in the UK too, last year he had two platinum albums here in the same year, and that's pretty unusual. Forever Vienna reached no. 2 in the pop chart and Moonlight Serenade was no. 4, with Live In Concert in between them at no. 43. He topped the UK classical charts for 6 solid months. So yes, it will be good for Hayley to have a track on his album, can anyone tell me which other vocalists have performed on his major albums? Yay, so I found something valuable for this forums XD... Hi Simba, yes you certainly did - well done! Cheers, Dave

So yes, it will be good for Hayley to have a track on his album, does anyone know if he usually includes a vocalist or is this a first? Cheers, Dave Hi Dave, My dad has most of his albums, I've seen most of them and I think he has had several vocalists but still I think most of his albums don't include vocalists, but those he has are from either Brazil or Holland I believe, so I think it's the first time he's made an album featuring a New Zealander so I guess that's something good best wishes Sing

His last album was advertised relentlessly here in Ireland,
No surprise "The Record Label" had little funds left to promote Hayley.

This is great news, I hope Hayley gets invited to one of André's DVDs, he releases two or three every year! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Of Course we are hoping for a new Hayley DVD, with the Roma Sinfonietta conducted by the Maestro Ennio Morricone! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes, Paulo Correia

Can hardly wait for this album to come out so that I can hear Hayley singing "Dreaming of New Zealand" in full. I've been playing the 30-second snippet on Rieu's site over and over again. I've been clicking the "Pause" button just before timer reaches the end, then dragging the timer back to the beginning for another play with a minimum of interruption. Hayley's singing of it is right up there with her Morricone work. Am of the opinion that that song is going places!

Hi everyone, I didn't get a chance to scan the album booklet at work, so I guess a photo with a camera will have to suffice for the moment: You can't see in the photograph, but Hayley's red dress has a very subtle pattern on it This is a very beautiful track! Very sweeping and has some rather spectacular high notes! Especially the very last note of the song!

The lyrics were written by Andre Rieu's wife, Marjorie Rieu
They are:
Dreaming of New Zealand Far across the sea I feel my loved one Staying nearer to me
Te Ika-a-maui Te Wai pounamu Sweet sounds of Maori Remind me just of you
Kei Te aroha au ki a koe You whispered I love you Sweet sounds of Maori Brought me close to you
Walking by the seaside The ocean deep and blue An albatross flying over The moment I met you
We climbed upon the highcliffs A path we'd never gone Standing close together We saw the golden sun
Dreaming of New Zealand Far across the sea I feel my loved one Staying nearer to me
Kei te aroha au ki a koe You whispered I love you Aoteraroa Reminds me just of you
