Umm, I probably did notice them in the other thread, although I unfortunately did not memorize the post number. I'm also noticing that there is no reply #72 in this thread, since your last post was #58. Oh yes, I am that observant!
Anyway, thanks for the "proper" set of photos. Very lovely. Hi Libby The post No 72 I referred to is in the Northampton thread. For some reason known only to them, Photobucket replaced my post in this thread with the duplicate from the Northampton thread. Now you're probably more confused that ever 'cos I am Best wishes Grant

Hello All, Before this tour started I promised Libby that I would try and video something special and dedicate it to all those HWI members who for whatever reason were unable to get to any of the Paradiso concerts. Well, I am pleased to say that during the Southend concert I was able to video Hayley singing 'I Dreamed a Dream' . This tour was the first public performance of this song by Hayley and is my all time favourite. I would like to thank Dave for all his help in preparing this video for you and for keeping still whilst sitting next to me in Southend when I filmed it. Please enjoy it, and thank you all for your kind comments on the photographs posted by myself and the other contributors from not only Southend but all the Paradiso concerts. Steve H

OK OK OK! Let me rephrase that - it's the first public performance I have heard in the UK! Thanks for your comments Martindn, it was taken on a Sony H7 camera with an optical zoom from the front row. Enjoy! Steve H

I was too close at Northampton, and at Bournemouth was far away aned needed a lot of zoom. Hi Martin D, All the videos that we take including yours are good for us Hayley fans as they bring back the memories and provide a better insight into what went on for those who could not attend. I think everyone knows by now that recordings taken from the audience can never be up to professional standards (for many reasons) and allowances for that are I am sure made. It's a pity you couldn't be in the front row at Bournemouth as the orchestra pit would have made it a perfect recording position! Many thanks Steve for your recording from Southend, you did a remarkable job in holding the camera steady. I bet it made your arm ache - and sitting next to you holding my breath for three minutes while you did the business was a bit of a strain for me, too! Cheers, Dave

Paddy
No Paddy - it was included on Hayley's set list but I think at Ebbw Vale it was also in a 'Les Mis' medley from the choir and Hayley sang something else instead. It was omitted at Llandudno too Best wishes Grant

Paddy Hi Paddy According to the programme from Ebbw Vale, Hayley should have closed out her first set with "I Dreamed A Dream" - instead, she opened it with "Prayer" As Hayley sang an identical set at Llandudno, I think we assumed the same change had been made although I don't think that choir sang anything from Les Mis. Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the beautiful video of I Dreamed a Dream, Steve... and thanks to you, Dave, for holding still! :2fun: I probably wouldn't have noticed if you had breathed, though. :rollin
Oh, Steve, she also sang the song in Malta. I think that may have been her first public performance of that song for a long time. Unless she also sang it in Taiwan or China, but I don't think she did, at least there were no videos of the song from those concerts.

Hi Libby, I meant that, observant as (you thought) you were , you didn't notice everything - like the link in the post below (to - "something you'd like" - maybe).
Gianluca Paganelli .... to hear Le Note del Silenzio live must have been incredible! The magic's in the name .... Paddy
