Hi All,
I couldn't make it to my 'local' concert as I've got my hands full with my baby son. I'm a Daddy!
Hope to see some of you sooner, rather than later.
Regards Bill

Hi All,
I just got back.
Travelling on the 5 th of march to Manchester, started around 4.45 am....woke up, and than took the train(6.15) to Amsterdam International airport where i arrived at 8 am... My flight went on at 9.55 and i arrived in Manchester at 10.30. From there, bus 43 (serving 24 hours a day...so i already knew what to expect on my way back later to the airport)
I collected my concertticket at 12 from the boxoffice....missed Hayley arriving at 1.00 pm.....yes ..she was early this time. After walking around in the city ...caught up , with Karsten,Thomas and Paddy...having something to eat at local Weatherspoons, we were ready for tonights concert.
WOW...what a FANTASTIC evening it was!!! For me...most songs, (yes i know them)...but heard them never before, performed by Hayley in a concert !!! A complete change, of songs, including the Paradiso ones....for me also a complete change of how Hayley sounds....this is what she is...and this is what makes her bigger than she already is, in the coming years!!! At the end of a fantastic concert, a signing session...the HWI delegation where the last ones queing...so we had a nice chat with Hayley before she disappeared. For me , her reaction...Hey Joyce...Long time no see...and a special...Thanks for coming...(she also asked how to say that in dutch...) made it very special, and so far...the BEST concert ever !!!!!
Joyce

Hello! I'm back in Germany since this late afternoon and still hayleywowed! I went online at Manchester airport but the connection was too bad even to log in. Thanks all for the good company before, during and after the concert! Thomas Back home here too. Even after four unparallelled Paradiso concerts, I wish I was still in UK and going south on a train ......... to hear again both Hayley and Gianluca. His captivating voice, Italian accent and charm complemented Hayley in an unforgettable combination of music and song. Kia Ora! ... Grazie! Even long queues can be very pleasant sometimes ... when the company's so good. A chance to chat again with special friends ... old and new ... It seems like last night was Euro-HWI night, although I saw many familiar faces from previous Hayley concerts. Here's hoping we meet again soon ... maybe in Dublin? Paddy

Hi all
It was the most wonderful evening, for us the best yet. Hayley was stunning, it's the first time that we have heard her live with an orchestra and it was all incredible. We were also thrilled that she remembered Beth after the event, she commented that she had grown since the last time she saw her. That's Hayley!
It was also lovely to meet up with old and new friends and glad everyone has returned home ok. 'Til the next time!
Can't wait until we see Hayley again.
Best wishes

Hi everyone! Back home too after an amazing night!! Hayley is still so perfect on stage! And as I was front row - perfect view - it meant that I could hear every nuance in her voice, it was magical!! An experience many front row seaters have had, I'm sure When Hayley came on stage and started to sing, I was immediately struck at how her voice alone do all the interpretation. She could just stand there and not move, just sing, drop a few nuances of interpretation, and she'd still be able to be gut-wrenching. It's all in her voice, that power, that beauty. A few disappointments though: 1) I was disappointed that she didn't explore more songs from Paradiso, all the more since she had an orchestra, songs such as Once Upon a Time in the West, The Edge of Love or Would He Even Know Me Now. 2) I don't understand why on Pokarekare Ana's break, after the second chorus and before the third, she goes down with her voice and not high as before, when I know she can do it!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif3) The concert was WAY TOO SHORT!!!! But I was extremely pleased with MANY things , among which: - Her guest was wonderful, with a very beautiful voice and cool songs (I had to be very strong and keep me from going on stage and dancing tango ). Their voices matched very well and consequently the duets were very beautiful. - I was happy that on Profumo di limone she was catching the high notes very well, with a full voice and not a nearly breaking one as she did on several TV shows. This leads me to say that her voice was at its finest, catching all the notes very properly, the breathing on Metti una sera a cena was perfect, and all the songs seemed easy to perform. She was very comfortable. She's always improving, she never stops being better, it amazes me! After the show I got to talk a bit to Arnaud.....and in French He's such a cool guy, just like Hayley - no wonder these two are together and make a perfect match! And after, there were the signing session, and just like Joyce it was so warming and so special that Hayley remembered me, that she said thanks for coming as well... She's the sweetest! A few photos and then goodbyes, and now beautiful memories! So thank you Hayley for such a wonderful evening, thank you Larry for the ticket and the incredible experience of being front row, thank you Paddy for being so kind and going back to your hotel to get me posters, and for trying to find me a programme - thank you Grant for your PM! - and thank you Karsten, Joyce and Thomas for your company and being so nice with me. HWIers are just the best!!! I've made a few videos of the concert, I'll post them later Lots of love, Juliette xxx Quick edit by Dave: to keep the opening song a surprise - for now!

Thank you Karsten and Joyce for the photos and many thanks to everyone so far for sharing your experiences! For me, sadly, it was a Bridge(water) too far! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Juliet, I have temporarily removed the name of the opening song, which may still be a nice surprise for those who haven't yet attended a concert but will do soon (Richard to name one! ) and I hope you will understand. Glad you all had a great time up there! Cheers, Dave

Loved the report Juliette. Looking forward to the viseos, but don't post them until Friday at least, or the mods will get upset. I have ont from Nrthampton to upload too, and hope to get some more at Bournemouth. Actually, I'm surprised you managed to get videos from the front row. It was too close most of the time at Northampton. And yes, I agree the front row is special, but unfortunately Sue is less keen and would rather be further back I think.

Loved your report Juliette - Being on the front row so close to Hayley is, to use a word she herself uses on this tour, "magical" as for the concert being too short, well, I'm afraid they always will be - even if they were three hours long, it wouldn't be long enough. Will PM you when I have you know what Lots of love Grant

Andy, Vicki & Beth Hi Andy Good to hear you made it to a concert on this tour - thought you might have made Rhyl. Manchester is the only one I couldn't get to - not surprised Hayley remembered Bethany - lovely when that happens. General consensus is that this is the "best ever" Hayley - told her so at Gateshead. Take care and love to Vicki and Beth Best wishes Grant
