Hi All Here is a quick update on how the UK concerts are selling with just over a month to go. An interesting fact is that irrespective of venue capacity, sales with the exception of Northampton are quite similar (venue capacities are estimates) :
Gateshead, capacity 1600, sold over 800 Rhyl, capacity 1000, sold over 800 Northampton, capacity 1400, sold OUT Manchester, capacity 2300, sold over 1000 Southend, capacity 1500, sold over 800 Bournemouth, capacity 1000, sold over 900

Many thanks for the updates Grant, Gillette and Martin, I have taken the opportunity to do some prominent updating regarding this tour on our website www.hayley-westenra-international.com/ and I have moved this sub-board to the top of the list here in the forum. It won't be long now! Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the information, Grant! I fixed the links in the third quote by separating them. I've also posted a link on our Facebook page. Here's an official video of Gianluca Paganelli singing "No Other Love": www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmZFEHmf0QwBest wishes, Richard

Hopefully, the addition of Gianluca Paganelli to the tour will also help sales. He has toured here before (last year with "The Soldiers") so he should have some UK fanbase.

Well, I'd never heard of him. He is a very good looking guy though, I can imagine he'd be good duetting with Hayley.

Yes, Martin. When I was digging around trying to find out who he was, I came across several remarks that said that he would be a good one to sing with Hayley Westenra. Bob S

Hi All The concert venues are now advertising the fact that Hayley will be supported by the "The NSO Chamber Orchestra". It remains to be seen who they are but I would think that they are a subset of the National Symphony Orchestra!!! Martin

Hello Martin! I think you're right. According to their website, the National Symphony Orchestra of London toured with Katherine Jenkins last year, and they've also worked with Russell Watson and Blake. www.nso.co.ukRichard
