It was Bedlam. There's no way to tell what went wrong, or whose fault it was. But there were several cancelled or postponed concerts last year.

And as of now, Bandana has not announced the tour "officially" yet. It's not up on the official site. Even the NZ tour isn't up yet. Libby is 100% right, Larry. We are still awaiting confirmation from Bandana. Airline and hotel reservations should not be made yet.

Well that was a waste of time! Tickets went on sale on Ticketline at 8.55am but the system doesn't let you choose seats and the best it would offer was G4 at The Sage. Looks like the venues will be offering better seats later in the week. Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the warning, Grant! I just looked at Southend and it offered me seat H6. I won't buy my ticket online anyway. Richard

Tickets for Bournemouth go on sale to the general public at the venue (and online) from Friday 9th Sept. However, they are already on sale to subscribers on their priority mailing list and the front row has already gone! Martin

Keep trying to book a number of times in quick succession. Worked for Manchester for me and I managed to find a centre A ticket . The best I was offerred for Gateshead was centre G. Maybe the front seats in Gateshead are already booked or reserved for 'special' people? Wishing you luck with your booking(s), Paddy

Hi Paddy and everyone
Have just spoken to The Sage box office - very helpful. Apparently, Row G is the first row that the ticket agency has got for that venue.
Tickets go on sale at the venue on Friday and I've been recommended to book online as their system allows you to select your own seat.
Best wishes Grant

Hmmm.. intersesting - "Hayley Westenra's Orchestra" is not an orchestra I've ever heard of. I can't believe she is forming one of her own. If an orchestra is being got together especially for the tour, it seems a lot of effort for so few shows. But the small number of shows gives me hope. Could it be that Ennio IS involved, and didn't want to spend weeks on end touring. After all, he is 83! I have a feeling as a said above that these will be very special concerts. Martin D

I've booked Manchester. Northampton, Southend Cliffs, and Bournemouth. The seats must be going fast I had to take a couple of seats farther back then I would have liked to. I hope this is an indication that Paradiso is going to go over well. The only problem is the long distances between venues. Only one day from Manchester and Northampton and one day between Southend Cliffs and Bournemouth. I'll have to rent a car to get to the concerts with little time to spare. I've done it before and I'm sure I'll be able to make the concerts. I may be a bit tired. I've used my GPS successfully in the U K before with no problems.

Larry Hi Larry, Manchester to Northampton by train takes less than 2 hours, with one change and plenty of trains. Southend to Bournemouth by train takes about 3 and a half hours with plenty of trains to choose from. You need to take an Underground connection in London to get to to Waterloo station, for the Bournemouth train. Well worth considering, I'd say. ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/planjourney/searchCheers, Dave

Hello Larry! I can get home from Southend after the concert, so I won't be staying overnight. See you there, Richard

Hi All Please be aware of booking tickets from an agency prior to the official booking period opening tomorrow. The tickets allocated to an agency may or may not be better than that allocated to the venue. Good hunting! Martin
