i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I am in Hamilton. Lovely fine day. Took a photo of the venue. It is huge. You will have to wait for any photos I take. Maybe tommorow. It was a huge day travelling. I left at 7:30am and arrived about 2pm travelled about 500km (just over 300 miles). Cannot wait for tonight.

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I am now in Auckland. Did the tourist thing and took photos of the waterfront, very nice. The Civic is a lovely old theatre. I am only a short walk from the theatre so that is great. Sorry about no pictures but I haven't found an internet cafe that does that yet.

WARNING
If you are using your camera cards in
INTERNET CAFES
Engage the lock switch on the card. It will prevent your card picking up nasty viruses which can make their way back to your camera and your own computer.
Don't forget to UN- LOCK the card before you put it back in your camera

i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I have some photo from my North Island leg of the Hayley tour. Mt Ruapehu (on my way to Hamilton) Sky Tower and the Auckland waterfront Auckland Harbour While in Auckland I went to the Rainbow End theme park. Here I am on the log flume. I also went on the rollercoaster. While at Lake Taupo I went on a cruise on this boat Looking towards Mordor lol. Water was quite rough. We rolled around a lot but it was fun. Purpose of cruise was to see these Maori carvings. (these ones are only a few years old). While in Wellington my sister took me to the Weta Cave where you can see miniatures etc from Lord of The Rings and other movies. An Uruk Gollum A Goblin And finally here is the ferry I will got back to the South Island on.

Beautiful photos! Especially the first one. Reminds me of the view of Mt. Rainier we see a lot (when it's not too cloudy) in my area. I love big mountains! I'm a big fan of LOTR, but those statues are kind of scary! I'd go anyway, of course. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

What a fantastic tour. If and when I tour NZ, I think I will take it a bit more slowly. I want time ton savour the places i visit. But then, I know that it is all about Hayley's concerts, and I too would be driven by that I am sure.

All you Kiwis, Ozzies and HWI folks should forget about the bad review from the obviously biased critic. Some people would gripe if they were hung with a new rope. We all know Hayley is the best there is.

We all know Hayley is the best there is. Good point Larry. I think it is just that we are all boiling over with fury it takes awhile to clean up the saucepan. By the way, the Brits are just as furious, perhaps even more so as arguably we're more experienced at Hayley's diversity and development over time than even her native kiwis. Peter S.

But then, I know that it is all about Hayley's concerts, and I too would be driven by that I am sure. Martin D The answer, if only I could afford it, is to do both! A saunter through for places to visit and a whirlwind keeping up with her on a tour. I also want to visit Oz. If only the lottery would come up for me... but then, I never buy a ticket! Don't understand it now they've made it so complicated. Peter S.
