I just wondered why some artists (many I've never heard of) have separate Sub-Boards, and others don't. A few artists sub-board haven't been updated in 2 or 3 years, whereas others (Elizabeth Marvelly, Camilla Kerslake etc) who don't have a separate sub-board are updated regularly. Who decides who gets their own sub-board? I'm not complaining about it. Just wondering. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hello I-H-F,
Many thanks for your question!
Quite honestly, no one decides on who gets a sub-board. We've kept the number of sub-boards at 15 for some time now. At the moment we've no plans to add any more. It's likely that we will remove some without replacing them. But this will be a matter to be worked on at a later date.
The Sub-boards were created several years ago for artists with whom the then-current staff had strong ties with, and were in keeping with Hayley's genre. For example...Zoe Mace, The Cottars, and Aselin Debison were "my" artists because I kept (and still keep) in contact with them and/or their parents. And many others artists such as Raven, All Angels, Fiona Pears etc., are or have been with Hayley on stage.
Many members feel that, at certain times, attention to these other artists might take away from any news on Hayley. Because of this, I've stayed away from Other Music for some time, which is why some sub-boards are not regularly updated.
Occasionally a new artist is announced which may become very popular. The forum itself dictates the popularity, as an artists' thread without a new post will move down the board and off of the first page.
All my best, Joe
