Thanks Jillian. Another mass market paper inclusion! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Bandana are doing a great job drip feeding the publicity, hopefully right up to the launch of Paradiso in the UK. If this can then be complimented with TV appearances and Radio airplay then that is all we can ever hope for from Bandana. Martin

Hi Jillian & Martin Thanks for the heads up - just had to go get myself a copy fot the scrap book - definately one worth keeping i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif. Great headline to the article too; that will ensure that very few readers will skip it! Best wishes Grant

No doubt Hayley is singing "Steam Heat" at the same time? (and this isn't a game whilst wearing her pajamas !!). Martin ps In case anyone picks me up on it, I haven't spelt pajamas incorrectly (in this instance)!

Has anyone ever considered that Hayley might sound interesting and edgy if she attempted to sing with a hoarse voice? It's great that she's got such a pure voice and all, but there's nothing wrong with her experimenting vocally on days when things are scratchier than usual. It might even enhance her expressiveness. In fact, several great female singers have had voices with an occasional edginess, like Maria Callas, Kim Carnes and Janis Joplin. Obviously Hayley won't go that far, but it might help broaden her audience potential if she veered away from perfect pureness and applied some soul-stirring grit in spots.

nooooooooooooooooooooo, i wouldn't want hayley to deviate from pureness, Pureness is hayley, I'd rather want her to remain original and unique, (and a TRUE singer, with a perfect trained voice like she has now), rather than everyone else....

I think that headline should attract attention all right I do like her lower range in songs, much warmer and possibly more attractive to "average" listeners. I think it is Hayley's high note capability that puts a lot of listeners off her. The non Hayley fans I know say their ears just can't handle the long high notes. Some of the other members here seem to be 'High note' addicts. but are we suggesting real low and rough like Eartha Kitt or Bonnie Tyler, a few cigars and half a bottle the night before sort of rough

No way, Steve! A pure voice is what Hayley is known for! That's part of what's so wonderful and unique about her, because her voice is always pure, even as it's developed. Something like that would affirm the belief by some that her pureness comes only from auto-tune (comments to that dreadful review of Paradiso). Another thing, I don't think it's very healthy to force yourself to sing when your throat is sore. At the very least, it would most likely prolong Hayley's discomfort. If you want rough and edgy, try another singer. Hayley is not a rock/alternative singer. Janis Joplin singing Whispers in a Dream or La Califfa. No thank you! She can't do everything just to please everybody. Nope, not gonna happen.
