Guildhall Yard is on the north side of Gresham Street about five minutes walk from Bank or St Paul's stations. From Bank, leave the station by Exit 2, walk up Princes Street and turn left into Lothbury which leads directly to Gresham Street. From St Paul's, walk towards the Museum of London and turn right into Gresham Street. See the map HERE. Richard

Hello folks! Fiona gave a brilliant performance outside the Guildhall last night to an audience of about forty people. She followed the Wilson Pickers, two men from Brisbane who sang country and western songs accompanying themselves on two guitars. One of them also played the harmonica. Fiona was accompanied by Ian Tilley on piano and Chris Dodd on double bass. She performed nine numbers during her forty minute set, with fast and slow tempos alternating: Tchavolo Swing House By The Harbour Tangissimo Calm After The Storm Them There Eyes This Land Memories Of Martin And Mary Cathedral Tango Monti's Czardas Fiona wrote several of the numbers herself, including 'Calm After The Storm' which she wrote following the earthquakes in her home city, Christchurch. She is currently working on a new album to be released towards the end of the year, and she will be returning to New Zealand in about two weeks time. I'll be seeing Fiona, Ian and Chris again this evening at Liverpool Street Station, then at Canary Wharf on Saturday 16th July. Richard

Hello Ross! Fiona was unable to play at Liverpool Street yesterday because of the strong wind blowing across the open stage. Hopefully the concert at Canary Wharf next Saturday will go ahead as planned. Richard
