Just got a message from the concert organisation, that Hayley will not be performing in Ypres!! Contracts were signed, and no reason has been given for the cancelation. Hope to find out more.

Hello Joyce, I am very sorry to hear this news, it must be a big disappointment to you. I have never had confirmation of Hayley's attendance from Bandana but I am sure that if Hayley said she was going, as reported from King's Lynn, that was the plan at the time. The most likely reason for such a cancellation would be that Hayley will be in a distant part of the World and therefore unable to make the trip. I know plans are afoot for some touring in the Eastern hemisphere way beyond Europe in November, but nothing is confirmed yet and all I know is the month. The other obvious possibility would be some involvement in Festival of Remembrance in London on the 12th November (with rehearsals on the 11th) but I think that is less likely. Of course, none of that would be of much consolation, and I do feel for you. I will remove it from our schedules. Dave

I think Hayley is doing her NZ tour in November. She is probably staying in NZ after the Rugby World Cup final on October 26th before she starts touring.

Hi,
Many thanks to Joyce for the info.
I ought to have known better but I really thought it would go ahead. Of course it was my own risk and there is no one to blame, but at any rate I will take things easier and reduce stress by avoiding to plan another concert journey at least for this year.
Cheers, Karsten

Ross is probably right. I doubt she'll go back to England and then back to NZ again. But it will be disappointing not to see her at the Festival of Remembrance, for me. But she has done it the last 3 times. If the Taiwan concerts are in December, as we've seen somewhere before, I would think any other Asian concerts would be closer to that time, as well. That would be the end of November, not the beginning-middle, especially since Hayley has been listing the NZ tour first before she mentions the Asian tour.
