Does anyone know what the music is when they're showing the Wall? It starts around 10:38. I really liked that music. It was very beautiful, and fit perfectly with the part about the organization she discovered, and the washing of the wall especially. It has a sad, yet uplifting effect, which is just right. I was almost wondering if it was a hymn, but if it is, it isn't one that I know. I did have a little trouble getting the video to advance to find that part, so I waited through it. But then after that part, I tried rewinding it, and then I was able to move it back and forth. So if anyone could try to find that part and listen to it, I'd appreciate it. Unless you remember it. Hi Libby, That's the main theme of Band of Brothers, a World War 2 mini-series from HBO. Go to YouTube and search for "band of brothers theme". Best wishes, Joe

Hi Libby, What Joe said. If your internet connection is faster than 1 mbps, you should be able to see a slowly advancing mid-grey progress bar ahead of the black bar, at the bottom of the video. This shows how much of the video has loaded into your browser buffer and it should move faster than the black bar that shows what part of the video you are viewing. You can move about within the mid-grey progress bar but how long it takes to get to the end depends on the internet speed. Otherwise, if you just need to get to near the end, you can start it playing, stick it on Pause and do something else while it loads. The file is nearly 200 MB in size, the biggest one I have on the site (and too long for Youtube). Thanks for tweeting the link. Cheers, Dave

Best wishes, Joe First...thanks to Dave, for that great excerpt from the concert which makes obvious how fitting Hayley's Pie Jesu was to common human suffering under loss. I'm a bit surprised nobody seems to have noticed that the lead in music to 'band of brothers' is Ennio Morricone's theme to "The Mission". Have a look / listen 8:08 to 10:20 !! Wow !! That can't have been planned surely?? Graemek

Hello Graeme! I noticed the background music straight away, but I thought it was so obvious I didn't bother to mention it. As you say, it was very appropriate to the occasion. Richard

Thanks for posting that Richard - beautifully put by Michelle. I cannot begin to imagine how that night must have been for her and I am so glad that Hayley's involvement made it even more special.
I wonder how many performers would take the sort of trouble that we know Hayley does to get into "The Mood" for those special occasions where her performance takes on such a significance - must also make it more difficult for her having done so.
I've tweeted the link to Hayley too - I'm sure she'd like to know how appreciative Michelle was of her performance that night.
Best wishes Grant

Hello Richard, Thanks for dealing with this important matter, I am impressed by your link directly to Michelle's comment on the website. I tweeted it, too. In fact, I tweeted it @hayleywestenra, @meshell975, and @hwinternational! HWI so they could click on it, of course. For future reference, if you just put @hwi, it is a girl from Asia, so make sure you put the "nternational" after the HWI!

I can't understand why Hayley seems so nervous when she
performs in the U S. Anyone got any ideas why?
I'm referring to the two holiday concerts she did in Washington
D C.

Hi Larry
I think it's because America is a big market which she has yet to fully tackle, and since she's less known over there, she takes every opportunity to impress with her beautiful voice, and hence, I think, it makes her more nervous.
