Just got home. Wow, what a show. It may be the only Hayley concert i shall see this year, but it was a good one!!
I won't say too much, since it is late, but I will say that she sang a rather eclectic mix of songs, some of which I had never heard her sing live before, and some that I never expected to hear in this country, and some that I haven't heard her sing for a long time. That is quite apart from the two Paradiso songs.
Grant will write a full report tomorrow (and I expect I'll fill in anything I think he missed out).
Meanwhile, I need to explore the contents of my camera. Who knows, there could be something special there!

I wonder if Grant can put into words what we have on our cameras? What a mixture, what a linguist.

Ah, now you've got me dying to know what songs she sang, and I have to wait till I get home from work tomorrow... 17+ hours from now!! OK, I'll give you the set list. There were some surprises, believe me. Hayley's First Set (after a rather late start due to "technical problems) 1. A Thousand Winds 2. The Mummers Dance 3. Songbird 4. Pokarekare Ana Daniel Boys 5. Everything 6. Anthem (from Chess) Hayley's second set 7. The Moon Represents My Heart 8. I know you by Heart 9. My Heart Belongs to You 10. Amazing Grace (a rather different arrangement). Interval Daniel Boys 11 I Could Write a book (Pal Joey) 12 So Close (from the film "Enchanted") Hayley 3rd Set 13. Summer Fly 14. Whispers in a Dream 15. La Califfa 16. I Dreamed a Dream. (Les Miserables) 17. All I Ask of You (with Daniel Boys) 18. Both Sides Now 19. Who Painted the Moon Black 20. Wuthering Heights Encore: Never Saw Blue. That was a fabulous song list, and Hayley was in very fine voice. Oh, and before you ask Libby, she wore the white Reiss dress in the first half, and an new one (we think it might be the one that Martin described from the Mermaid) second half. I'm sure there will be some pictures. Martin D

Well, I might have some photgraphic evidence, and I think Drew might have something too. But that will have yo wait until I have time to sort things out.

Hi Martindn Thanks for the set list. It's a very interesting blend of the old and the new together with "I dreamed a dream" which I think Hayley first sang when she was only 13/14 at a Russell Watson concert.
Altogether a very "popular" theme to the concert with minimal crossover.
I look forward to the reports and photos.
