I just watched the video. Very fine voice, especially in the vocalise parts. Sisca sounds like she was classically trained but managed to avoid the overkill aspects, which makes her far more listenable than many of singers in that genre.

Her training has been choppy at best. She basically taught herself by listening to Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban and Emma Shapplin. Probably why the overkill aspects are absent!

I really like the songs of hers that are online: Earth Song, Kindness and Beautiful(can be found on her facebook). Thank you for finding and sharing her.
I like her image as well. I hope that doesn't change much in the future.
According to Facebook & Twitter Andrea Bocelli wants to work with her? I found that interesting.

Is it really over fifteen months since we mentioned Sisca here? Impermanent Life is a wonderful album. I was lucky enough to get one of the physical CDs before they sold out. Sisca is currently working on a second album.  |

12 January 2011, some time around 7 pm was the first time I saw this video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1PB77sq1dYAt that time all that was publicly available from Sisca was this and two tracks on her fb page - Time and Beautiful. It was enough to make me a fan. A little later that evening, Sisca's profile appeared on the CCUK website. She had had the same effect on Nicola that she had on me. I haven't a clue how many views the video had back then, nor how many times I have watched it since, but it is now approaching 10,000 views according to YouTube. If you haven't heard Sisca sing, you are missing something really special. Please give her a listen. If you have heard her before, then treat yourself and listen again. You know she is worth it. I know it is only a number, but please help Sisca reach this milestone. |

I've been waiting a long time for Sisca's second album, but we are finally on the brink of release  The title track 'On My Own' was released as a single today, together with this beautiful video Please take a listen. I've been told we can expect the full album around the beginning of August  |
