Hi All, There was an article in the 'Cambridge Evening News' yesterday which mentioned Hayley. The heat is on to give pensioners free travel Review of the year 2006 . . . July - August - SeptemberTHE summer of 2006 will be remembered as a scorcher - and July was the hottest ever. As temperatures climbed into the 90s..., everyone headed for the great outdoors to soak up the sun, with events like Cambridge Folk Festival and Ronan Keating at Newmarket attracting huge crowds...
Among the people in the news were partially-sighted bridegroom Andrew Hall, who took a course of vision-enhancing drugs so he could see his bride Carolyn for the first time; singer Hayley Westenra, who went to Ely to meet The Choirboys; and Syd Barrett, founder member of the rock band Pink Floyd - sadly he died, at the age of 60.
