Hi everyone  As part of my French coursework I've been told to create a presentation of someone either an actress/actor/musician; and explain why I admire them...any guesses who I've chosen...maybe the thread title gives it away too much  ... but it has to be 200 words and 200 pictures  ...essentially that means a picture for every word...which is a little bizzarre...and to be honest I'm a little stuck...because I think what I've got to say either in English or in French is a lot more than 200 words!!... ...and as for photos...I don't know where to start to be honest!...  I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some ideas....thank u very much in advance...it's for the 4th Jan so I have quite a bit of time...well, actually perhaps not with the amount of revision I have to do over Christmas  So...back to the revision now... Wow! That sounds like an interesting and fun project.
Perhaps you could try looking at it from the various categories of photographs of Hayley that can be found here. For example:
Album photo shoots
Official launches and engagements
Fund raising - UNICEF/RBL etc.
Iraq
Fashion
Hayley on stage/performing
Casual Hayley (pre concert etc)
Post concert signings
Good luck, whichever way you choose.

Hi Sing. Wow, you sure took on a monumental challenge! I think it might help if you broke it down into things about Hayley the person and things about her as a performer. For example, as a person she is charitable and there are a few photos that depicts her work with UNICEF if you search the forum. And as a person she is fashionable, so just look at Jillian's thread on fashion for ideas. As a performer she is dedicated, and that can be seen in many photos where she is deeply concentrating on the music. And she is playful too and you can see that in several shots such as her duet with that guy who lifted her up and carried her off.
These above examples are all rather obvious about her, but much of your selection of words and pics will be based on your subjective appreciation. You may find her to be sincere, for example, and perhaps you'll read that into an image of her talking with children.
I suspect you will have little or no difficulty generating words about her as a performer, because the photo record is exhaustive and lends itself to many specific descriptions. The hard part will be matching words and images about her individual self, but maybe this is where you'll excel nonetheless because you take such a strong interest in her. In any case, you're in the right place to get all the photos you need and then some. I wouldn't be surprised if you wind up with 500 possibilities and have to select the best 200 when it's all said and done.

Here are my recommendations for where to find Hayley photos: "Favorite Pictures of Hayley" in the Misc. board "Funny Pics of Hayley", same board "Hayley's photoshoots" These both contain concert photos, photo shoots, and media shots. The concert board is loaded with great pictures, but that is very overwhelming and very time-consuming to browse through. I know from experience, because I did just that when looking for earrings, shoes, etc. to use for polls. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Some of the concerts don't even have photos at all. I would at least maybe go through the main tour boards, i.e. River of Dreams, Winter Magic, Valentine, and Battle of Britain tours. The before and after concert photos tend to show the most personality. You could also browse through the photo section of Hayley's official Facebook page. I could even give you the link to my photobucket page, if you want, although at the moment there are a bunch of shots of shoes and earrings at the top!  I have a few photos in mind that I will share with you shortly. |

Hi everyone Thank you so much for the help !!  Libby, thank you for those pictures...i've put them on my presentation...I think you've really picked out some of the best pictures which capture Hayley's personality so thank u! but unfortunately I'm still struggling to find pictures...that's is becoming a bit of a problem...mostly because there are so many to choose from...so if u have any ideas about which other ones to choose i really would be soooo grateful!! And Joanne thank u so much for the links to the articles! I haven't finished reading through them but the ones I have are definitely proving useful...to be honest I think the main problem iscutting everything down to 200!!...  ... Definately the word that came to me immediately when reading you asking for the first word that would pop into our minds about Hayley is quite inspired by a song covered by Celtic Woman on their "A new Journey" DVD: she is definately The Voice.

I have one more question...when you think of Hayley what is the first word that pops into your head? Sing Hi Sing, Um well. Wikipedia has a brief entry about her various philanthropic efforts. You could pick from there then go into the specific threads on HWI? Just to help narrow things further haha. In response to your question.. When I think of Hayley, a mass of images pop into my mind so I can't really help with the one word you're asking for.
