Sue and I went to see Aled in concert at the De Montfort Hall, Leicester thsi evening. This was the first show of his christmas tour, which consists of 21 concerts I think he said.
He also said that he is shortly to release an album of carols.
Aled, like Hayley, has a voice hat sounds better live than on record. We both enjoyed the show immensely.
Appearing with him was 12 year old "Isabel the Choirgirl", who has a nice voice although she seemed a bit nervous. I enjoyed her performance too, she even sang a duet with Aled. Aled said that Isabel would only be appearing at three of the concerts on his tour, so we were priveleged to hear her. She could go far.
Aled also sang a duet with himself (his 14 year old self, you can probably guess which song it was).
