Hi Grant, Yes, I know where you are coming from - my initial short list had 30 songs and it took some heart searching to cut it down. Several others have included songs from that list that didn't make it though. But with the size of your collection of Hayley's recordings, I imagine your task would be more difficult that most peoples! Perhaps I should add that it might be a good idea, where you choose songs that she has recorded more than once, to say which recording you would include. In my case, the versions of Pokarekare Ana and Amazing Grace are both from Pure. The HSJS version of Amazing Grace did tempt me (the "Hayley Westenra" one didn't), but I think I prefer to hear the extra verses that are on the Pure version. Martin D

Yesterday night Ezequiel comes saying to me... "Precisely yesterday I listened to one of my favorite Hayley's song"... my reply was "Which oone of the over 150 favorite ones?"

P. S. He was talking about My Heart Belongs to You.

Best of? Only 12+1 tracks?? Haha. Well, my two cents: 1. You Are Water 2. Sonny 3. Pokarekare Ana (Vocalese) 4. The Mummers' Dance 5. Flower 6. Scarborough Fair 7. Wuthering Heights [Edited from: Jolene (I do wish she'd record this) ] 8. Yuki No Hana (Don't know the English name) 9. Across The Universe Of Time[Edited from: I Know You By Heart (Like Jolene, so far live only ) ] 10. Let Me Lie 11. Le Notte Del Silenzio 12. Summer Fly Bonus: Dark Waltz (but of course. Haha.) I wanted to add Veni Veni Emmanuel and Little Drummer Boy but people don't seem to put festive songs in Best Ofs. And so many HSJS2 songs. Like Tsubomi, Cosmos and Warabigami-yamatoguchi. Thankfully, I don't actually have to decide i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Nice question, Martin D! cheers, Joanne [Edits: My bad haha I didn't see the bit about commercial recordings. More space for more of my favourite songs then!]

I've burned mine onto a Cd now, and am playing it in the car. Love it!
