I just realized in the official website, they've replaced the video with a 1:30 second clip....without the first half at all XD....strange

I just realized in the official website, they've replaced the video with a 1:30 second clip....without the first half at all XD....strange Hi Simba, The 1:30 promo clip has been around for a while, I thought they'd pulled the original full length music video quite some time ago but perhaps not. Anyway, You can still see nearly all the promo videos at HWI on the same page, there are five so far and I also have the 1:30 version you mentioned, and a 30 second clip ready for use as a TV advert (with whatever voice-over the broadcaster wishes to add). Guys....you know how hayley sings maori...omg so maybe the maori version will have it in a whole new different feel, with the full pure voice XD....it sent my blood pressure up as well!! XD

Actually, just occurred to me that it would be a brilliant stroke to add Hayley's "The World in Union" to the UK and Maori versions as a bonus track!

These release dates are getting so confusing. Is Canada's release the 23rd, or the 29th? Is the US release Oct. 4th, or the 18th (please see the US release thread) ? How are we ever supposed to know for sure, when the sellers and record label websites, say different things? Can't her website ever list all the release dates, so we know for sure? The August dates aren't far away, so it would be nice if they could set those straight for us, at least. Since Dave indicated the US release date might be brought forward, I'm thinking the new Oct. 4th date is entirely possible. However, Amazon still says the 18th. Universal music Canada still says it's Aug. 23rd, but Amazon.ca now says Aug. 29 (and it is not an import!), but it never said it was the 23rd. So, who do we believe?  |

Looking at how Paradsio is being promoted, I re-read the bit about the promotion of Pure in "The World at her Feet".
It seems that the promotion for Paradiso is very similar, involving a tour of local radio stations and, magzine shoots, TV appearances etc. Except now of course, we can do much more on the internet.
Lets hope it generates as big a success for Hayley as Pure was (but I suppose them we will argue about how such a thing can be meausured, total sales vs chart positions etc.).

I don't think we can realistically make the comparison with Pure. That was a one-off in different times, and the like of it (in the UK and NZ) we will never see again. And record companies don't have so much money to throw at albums these days! My comparison is still with Treasure, on chart positions over the first few weeks. If and when Paradiso gets ahead of Treasure, we can start to look at the two Odysseys!  Cheers, Dave |

Hi, Don't know if someone can help me about the different versions/releases....or did someone noticed? I have Paradiso from New Zealand......it has same barcode as the EU/or UK release. 028947830870. The New Zealand release ,was made in new Zealand (printed on Booklet and cd) The European, was made in the EU/ printed on booklet and cd. I just saw the Australian release....also same barcode...has it made in Australia on it?? And is there a UK one....wich has made in the UK on it??? And what about the Hong Kong edition.....just found out...it has the same barcode....but has it...made in HK on it Greeyz joyce |
