There is something about Hayley's voice which makes the world seem like a better place every time I hear her sing . Until a few months ago, I had only come across Hayley in BBC Songs of Praise and other occasional TV appearances, (although two of those occasions were live at the Royal Albert Hall in the SoP Big Sing ). Then, last autumn, I needed some music in my life, but I knew exactly where to find it. I started off buying Pure and Treasure, which were rapidly followed by Odyssey, whilst Winter Magic went on to my Christmas list. This year, with the help and encouragement of Nicola and others at Classical-Crossover, my collection has grown so that I now have all Hayley's major releases. This forum looks huge, and I have barely started to scratch the surface, but I am looking forward to finding out more about Hayley and her fans .

Hello John, nice to meet you!
Yes there is a huge amount to uncover here, and even scratching the surface takes some doing.
I guess you are in the UK. Whereabouts? Do you plan to attend any of Hayley's concerts this year, if so you might get to meet some of us. If you think Hayley sounds good on record, wait until you hear her live!!
She has not performed live in public in the UK this year yet, next Saturday at Yeovil will be the first. You can find a list of her confirmed events in the events list on the main HWI site, although there are usualy some unconfirmed (by Hayley's management) ones too.
Look for the guys with the tartan ties, or the HWI tops at any of Hayley's shows..

I am in Surrey and, yes, I will be at Croydon on July 28th. I am a few rows back in the stalls. I would say that I will look out for you all in the front row, but I expect my attention will be focussed just a little above and beyond you.

Hello John,
Welcome to the forum. You can spend many an hour looking through the old concert reports and videos.
My wife ,Irene, and I will be at Croydon along with a few other members of this forum. Normally about a week or so before a concert a time and place will be suggested, in the concert thread for those who wish to meet up. We usually arrive at Fairfield a little early and have something to eat and/or drink before the concert.
I look forward to meeting you.
Jim

Hello John, and welcome to the forum! I live in outer London on the Surrey border, and I'm also going to the Fairfield Halls on 28th July. We'll all be meeting up during the afternoon in the main foyer, where there's a bar and a coffee shop, so I'll see you there. Best wishes, Richard

Hello John! Wow! I didn't notice you creeping in here! Ha ha! If it's a community you want, look no further than this place. Everyone here is really nice and are often one big happy family. Most importantly, it's always active. I think you'll find many friends here, John. Since I already know you quite well, I guess there's nothing more for me to say. Settle in, settle in! <3
