Hi everyone, I was wondering whether anyone here listens to LeAnn Rimes? She's an American Country singer (Like Taylor Swift) and makes lovely country songs (like Taylor again ). For a person who hasn't heard any of her music yet, "How Do I Live (Without You)" is a lovely song. She has also done a duet with Ronan Keating. It's called "Last Thing On My Mind". It's very nice! Her very latest single, called "Swingin'" is lovely as well! Very catchy and enjoyable. - Anshita

I've heard of her, probably recommended by amazon . I like a lot of country music, so looks like i've found another to add to my amazon basket i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOr at least when i have some money, the amount of CDs I buy without other people recommending new stuff to me

Hello Anshita.
Unfortunately I had to delete the links that you posted because both videos contain soundtracks that are commercially available recordings. They are therefore infringements of LeAnn's copyright, so we can't allow the links on this forum. The only exceptions are where the videos are posted on YouTube by an official source, eg the artists themselves or the record company.
Sorry!
Richard

I also Love LeAnn Rimes! On LeAnns official Youtube channel weren't much songs. Though I did find a different channel, but I'm not sure if I can post videos from this channel here. It could've been the same channel from which Anshita has taken the links from. Perhaps you could check the channel if it is allright Richard?

Hi Anshita, I knew of LeAnn Rimes from the Coyote Ugly song Can't Fight the Moonlight, which I rather like, it's a very pop song, so I didn't imagine she is into country. I may check other songs by her soon.

Hi Michal, Yes, I know a few of the tracks from Coyote Ugly also, and Can't Fight The Moonlight is also a favorite! Though she mainly is a country singer, I notice she has some pop songs also. - Anshita

Sharon Hello Sharon, (I can finally quote, hehe i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif)I had a look at the youtube channel. I didn't get the videos from here, but I found the official video of Last Thing On My Mind in the channel. I'm afraid it can't be linked though, since it's not a LeAnn Rimes channel. - Anshita

Hello Sharon and Anshita! That is not an official LeAnn Rimes channel, as stated by the user: Copyright infringement may not be intended, but... I've removed the link to the channel from both of your posts, but please don't worry about it. Best wishes, Richard

Love LeAnn, and have done since I first heard her, many years ago, now. Her albums are a lot harder to get in England these days, as she made her international fame through her Pop albums, not her Country stuff and when she shifted back, interest was lost. That said, she's still awesome. For those who have not yet seen it, you might want to go to YouTube and search 'LeAnn Rimes + Joss Stone' to get their CMT Crossroads team up. Two of the best voices in non-Classical music and they sound phenomenal together. Oh, yeah. Have some official sites: LeAnn's official siteLeAnn's MySpace

They perform around 6-8 songs together, IIRC. and they are ALL terrific! One of two Crossroads DVDs I'd certainly get if they were released (The other being Taylor Swift & Def Leppard, who are utterly awesome together).

Elliot,
I've just seen the duet between LeAnn & Joss Stone - Good Friends and aGlass of Wine. Sounds really good! I'm not a huge Joss Stone fan. She was mostly little 'too much' for me. But together with LeAnn it sounds terrific!
I also found a duet with LeAnn together with Reba McEntire called 'When You Love Someone Like That'. Can't put the link here, cause I think this video doesn't have/own copyright...

As a fan of both LeAnn and Joss (Though I'm not keen on her last album - too R&B, not enough Soul) I was over the moon when I found those duets, I must admit. They sound utterly fantastic together. I kinda hope they'll do more of those at some point...
