Hello Paddy! Can you confirm that Hayley is included on these releases? If she isn't, this thread should be moved to the Celtic Woman sub-board. Richard

Hello Paddy! Can you confirm that Hayley is included on these releases? If she isn't, this thread should be moved to the Celtic Woman sub-board. Richard Hi Richard! I really think it belongs more in the Celtic Woman sub-board, as it's a Celtic Woman album and only marginally a Hayley album. (I put it where you had just moved another CW thread - 'follow-the-leader style!) As far as I can gather, Hayley features (marginally) in four of the songs chosen from A New Journey ( in red below). The songs in blue are new recordings - with a gospel choir. So, Hayley doesn't feature in You Raise Me Up (as she did on A New Journey). Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey - Essential Collection (Album)1. The Call 2. Pie Jesu3. Harry's Game 4. The Butterfly 5. The Voice 6. Danny Boy 7. Orinoco Flow 8. You Raise Me Up9. Shenandoah The Contradiction 10. The Isle of Inisfree 11. Dulamán 12. Green the Whole Year Round 13. Ave Maria14. The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun 15. Somewhere 16. Beyond the Sea17. Mo Ghile Mear18. Spanish LadyPaddy

Thanks for that, Paddy! As you can see, I've now moved this thread to the Celtic Woman sub-board, together with the older thread about the 'New Journey' CD. Richard

I just watched the documentary and it is so good! I love all the girls, and Chloe is so bubbly!! Hayley gets mentioned in the Helix DVD section. Mariead said it was like having another girl in the family, and Orla I believe said Hayley was a wonderful addition and they had this adorable little clip of Hayley and Chloe where Chloe jokes about the two of them reading gossip mags together. Very cute!!

Today I bought this CD at a local store here in Portugal, I was not thinking about doing so, I thought about buying the CD on Itunes and order the DVD when available. No mention of Hayley at all, although the Bonus tracks "Mo Ghile Mear" and "Spanish Lady" are the ones recorded live from Slane Castle!

Hi Paulo,
I suppose it is payback time for not crediting Meav's contribution to "The Last Rose of Summer" on Hayley's Japanese album Prayer!

Martin Hi Martin, I didn't realize that Meav wasn't credited in "Prayer", I suppose you're right, but it's not fair, Meav is credited in 8 of the 18 tracks, and also is no longer part of Celtic Woman! Actually, Hayley has been edited out of all the songs she was part of, according to CW Forum.com
Not fair!

And did Hayley's departure leave such a bad taste? I'm starting to think that Hayley left at the right time, much as I love that album and DVD. Martin

Well, CW Forum also says that it may have been because Hayley is part of Decca, not Celtic Collections (record labels). I do not understand this because the songs were released by Celtic Collections originally with no problem.

Actually, Hayley has been edited out of all the songs she was part of, according to CW Forum.com Not fair! ~NL Hi Northern_Lights and everyone, I confess I was truly reluctant in buying the DVD, after I read this, and for Hayley not being credited in the CD. But today I bought it at a local store, and Hayley is credited in it , she appears in several tracks from the Slane Castle DVD, even her solo performance of "Scarborough Fair" is in the DVD. The documentary has a short mention of her in the Slane section. Best wishes, Paulo Correia

In that case I must apologise for what I wrote! After all, I still like CW, even without Hayley. That's what comes of shooting your mouth off based in incorrect facts!

Hi Martin, I like Celtic Woman too, and I was looking forward to see the new elements, alex and Lynn but they only appear in the documentary. The majority of the videos are from the "Live at Slane Castle" DVD, and the rest from the first DVD except one that belongs to "A Christmas Celebration". The only thing new is the documentary, wich tells the story of Celtic woman from the beginning until now, it ends with the promise of a new show in 2009, a new CD and DVD. Best wishes, Paulo Correia
