Yes, me too, there is no doubt at all that I will buy it. The only thing I don't know is where from, since I will be on holiday on the release date. Probably look for a copy somewhere around where we are. We don't know how widely it is going to be stocked though do we.

I would think a small sample of an album heard on a computers sound system will hardly do Karl and Hayley justice.
I have been a fan of Karl's compositions for some time, Songs of sanctuary by Adiemus has seldom been back in its case since I got it in the mid nineties.
his material may take some getting used to, these are new compositions from scratch, not just pop songs or three minute ditties, these are major musical works that will probably stand the test of time and be around for centuries.

Hi everyone, I've just come across the first track listing that I've seen, it's at Crotchet and took a lot of un-picking!

Hi Graeme, It surprises and slightly disappoints me though, as the only music CD that I can recall benefiting from a large chunk of narrative in the middle is Jeff Wayne's "Musical War of the Worlds" - and that had Richard Burton, who was fantastic! So it can happen. I shall of course reserve judgement until I have heard it so I hope the readings do indeed add to the music as I am sure Karl Jenkins intends. He is good enough to make it so. Cheers, Dave

Cheers, Dave OK Dave, sorry. I misread your intent there. I reacted to the mixing of the different 'religious' writings, not the way they sound if read with the right dramatic intonation. Marianne & I saw a school production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" last night so that sort of thing was on my mind. Incidentally we loved the show....BRILLIANT !!! Graeme

Oh, I'm sure I'll still buy it. It is just a tiny bit of it, I shouldn't just go by that. Hopefully eventually there'll be more clips.

But is it going to be the kind of CD where you can skip over the Hindu and Buddhist stuff? And is I'll Make Music her only part in the CD?

Hi Richard,
Many thanks for the links!
Amazon US have the price currently at $22.49 but when one considers that it may be well near one hour of quality music and voice, it's a bargain!
Cheers, Joe

Oh good, I won't have to pay get an import. I think I will pre-order, because the price usually goes up after an album is released. Amazon.com has a product description, but Amazon.co.uk doesn't yet. No tracklisting or mention of Hayley on either Amazon, but HMV does mention Hayley.
