Hello all,
Well, she's been kinda busy with school and a few other things, but our friend Kristyn is still very active musically, and the Barefoot soprano is set to release her second album soon!
I can't give too much away right now, but I will say it includes the contemporary hymn We "Walk By Faith," the WWII song "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square," and even a Paul Simon song.
If Kristyn's progess last year is anything to go by, this new CD should be nothing short of spectacular!

Hello, hello!  I am sitting here on this sort of cloudy morning, holding my 5 month old nephew, who is drooling all over my arm. yum. lol. But we are a happy bunch this morning and I thought that it would be the perfect time to come say hi So, my summer was awesome!!! I got a lot of things done! wooo! But to stay on topic, I shall just update you a bit on my CD progress.Things are coming along wonderfully! Recording will continue at school... I head back to NY on saturday. This is an exciting project for me, as I am spending a lot of time developing my own sound. I have been experimenting with new ideas and am continuously collaborating and listening to new ideas and suggestions. Some people might classify this CD as classical-crossover  Mostly, I'd like to think of it as Kristyn Murphy. Here is a fun "behind the scenes" picture! Take care, Kris Attachments:

Some of the songs haven't been recorded more than once or twice and will be nice and fresh and new to listeners.
