Hi Roger,
This is a rare opportunity for me: to correct an error
made by a HWI high flyer.
Canterbury is not in Christchurch.
Christchurch is in Canterbury.

Ours is the Christchurch Cathedral ,but we will rename it the Canterbury Cathedral if it means Hayley will come home and sing in it.

Can't see anything on Canterbury Cathedral website regarding performance.

Also confusing to note that the new University in Canterbury is called Christchurch!

I hope the concert in Canterbury Cathedral will be confirmed, because I may well go to it. The last train from Canterbury East to London Victoria is at 23:18, changing at Faversham and Gillingham. I also see the Festival box office opens on Monday 14th August 2006. Purely by coincidence, earlier today I thought about taking a trip to Canterbury soon, so now I know when I might be going! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Despite Canterbury Cathedral thinking that Hayley, Fiona and Ian are all in Canterbury (Kent, UK) on Friday 27th October 2006, Fiona on the other hand thinks that she is near the other Canterbury (Christchurch, NZ) on the same day.

Now I was amazed when Hayley and Fiona appeared at Regent's Park and Cardiff on the same day. I shall be impressed if Fiona performs at both Christchurch and Canterbury on the same day. That is dedication.

I guess Ian has the casting vote.

I am pleased to hear about the Canterbury concert and will tell Steve when I see him on Saturday.

Also pleased to hear about the December dates down this way - Hayley told me last year how much she enjoyed the Churches tour last Cristmas. Lots to look forward to!
