I'd crash. I'd be so busy playing with the satnav to get Hayley to sing that I'd forget to look where I was going! Hello Elliot! If you miss the car ferry, Hayley will sing "The water is wide!" Richard

I'd be too fascinated in hearing how she pronounces all her words. I always find myself trying to imitate accents. New Zealand, Australian, British, etc. I'm better at the New York accent, but I really don't like the sound of it.

Richard That'd be me alright! "But officer, I can explain! I was just trying to get my satnav to sing to me, and... Uh... You know what? Never mind!"

Welsh gives me real problems because it's so up and down all the time, so it takes me a while to 'zone in', as it were. New Zealander is a slightly more musical version of Australian. Kinda. Which could explain the exceptionally more musical Hayley, I suppose!

Hello Elliot! I've heard a rumour that Hayley's just recorded "We all live in a yellow submarine!" She must be familiar with your driving! Richard

New Zealander is a slightly more musical version of Australian. Kinda. Which could explain the exceptionally more musical Hayley, I suppose! The musical appeal of different languages is a very interesting subject. For example Italian sounds good in music, so does Welsh. If by "New Zwalander" you mean English, yes, I like Hayley's accent, but Maori really is a beautiful sounding language. And that is the language in which I first heard Hayley sing, and I'm sure part of the reason she made such a huge impression on me. So to get back on topic, lets have a Maori SatNav with Hayley's voi$ce! It would certainly be as useful as my daugters, which misdirected me against my own navigational instinct. I was right, I eventually had to turn round. I think I'll stick to navigating my instinct and the sun. More reliable!. Martin D

...I've heard a rumour that Hayley's just recorded "We all live in a yellow submarine!" Wasn't that for the Lorelei soundtrack?

'Top Secret' would be a terrific name for a Hayley album, actually, wouldn't it? Someone should suggest that to her.

Martin - yes, I meant the English New Zealand accent. I am totally unfamiliar with Maori. Outside of the Haka (Did I spell that right?) England hears very little of it, generally.

Well, Hayley sings several song in Maori, and even wrote a lyric that was partly in that language. The first song I ever heard her sing was in Maori. I think it is a beautiful language. Martin D

Martin D Hard to say from that, IMO. If Hayley was singing in Klingon it would sound like a beautiful language. That's just Hayley
